Cleverly vs Jack

Cleverly is far too easy to hit and I think Jack will get a late stoppage.

I'm actually having a little wager this weekend, a treble..

G Davis, Jack and Mayweather all to win by any method of stoppage is 6/1.

 

Yeah, the Jack part of that bet is the worry for me but like I said, Cleverly takes far too many shots and I can see Jack just breaking him down but I agree Cleverly has got a good engine and he is game, we will see.

I think Davis will definitely get the stoppage.

I think the referee will "save" a "brave" McGregor and stop him on his feet after he starts taking too many cleans shots. So we will see McGregor walk away complaining and claiming he was not given a fair shake, Mayweather racks up 50 and everybody earns a warehouse full of money.

 

Jack will walk through feather fisted Clev and stop him late or win a wide UD.

Clev is presumably cashing out prior to retirement.

I have a feeling he might shock Jack with his work rate and win a close decision. I worry for Cleverly with the scoring though, particularly if he gets busted up from getting involved in an unnecessary war.

Clev far too easy to hit these days .LHW is stacked with talent and he's outside the top 15 now. Maybe should call it a day.

 

He took a lot of punishment in that fight, It's probably time to hang them up. Cleverly was never a technician by any means, but his technique post Kovalev has dimished so much.

Clev should retire and become a maths teacher or something. He's shot to bits.

 

He has retired hasn't he? It was sad to see him taking shots like that, it was an entertaining fight though. He's had a good career and he should enjoy retirement & never even contemplate coming back.

 

He's announced this morning that he's retired, probably for the best.
