Hi! first of all, i have only been training in a boxing gym for couple months so im quite new, (although been watching the sport since forever), What kind of tips would you recommend a guy whos left handed but right footed? i want to stick to 1 stance, in southpaw iv a good and fast left but little flat footed , in orthodox iv good footwork, good left jab but not much pop to my right hand.. thanks
Lol...this reminds me of a guy who came to my classes and said something similar. He said...ha ha....get this....what if I stand in southpaw stance but twist my body and punch in orthodox...HA HA HA HA HAAAAAA what a tool!!!! Pure gold I tell you....pure.....f@cking......gold.... Anyways, if you're left handed, train in left handed/southpaw stance. Tings naturally feel awkward because you're new. You just have to get used to it.
Your the type that would deflict everyones confidence just to make them feel better bet hed whoop ur ass aha
Your feelings are hurt. It's OK. Not everyone has confidence. Specifically highlight the exact sentence where I was "deflicting" his confidence, lol...if that even is a word.
If what you say is correct physically then you have a potential advantage if worked correctly. Unusual to have true opposite dominant hand and foot.
