For those of you who are too pure to care about Mayweather-McGregor: Guess what? Cotto is irrelevant and as retired as Mayweather. If a boxer announces he's retiring after three more fights, we can be sure he won't be taking risky bouts, which in Cotto's case means no way will he take on the GGG-Canelo winner, and most likely not even Lemieux. A boxer by all means can and should announce plans to retire soon, but those intentions have to be 'indefinite', then after a bout you announce it's over. Giving a retirement date just makes him half retired already. I don't care about Cotto, and I'm not going to go out of my way to watch him again.

But Vargas-Rios... that's a good fight.

Ty for posting an actual boxing match however much you despise the name brand guy. Props to HBO and Cotto for putting their money where their pr is.

 

Their names together sound like some comedy double act.

Wow, vargas has a really good right hand. Fast and accurate, I whish it had a bit more of ko power, just a bit more, but it's great!

 

I thought it was all one super card! Damn

It's going to be a great fight.

 

Man, I hadn't seen Vargas fight in a while, he's gotten much better. I want to see a body shot ko, I think Rey will get it. Shout out to IB for being so high on this guy since years ago.

 

Vargas wants a war...but wants Rios to force it...good stuff
