There are a lot of opinions flying around on this board. But I tell you one thing, the casuals were thoroughly entertained. Everyone I've talked to enjoyed the fight. I'm listening to sports talk radio and I haven't heard a negative comment from a caller yet.

This fight was good for boxing. The hype was supernova and the masses thought the fight was great. AND the way Floyd fought was completely different from what everyone expected.

    It was fun.

Boxing would explode if they put McGregor in with the winner of GGG vs Canelo.

There are a lot of MMA fans in denial. They think McGregor did well. Lol.

Conor swept the first six rounds then gassed. If his conditioning was better he would have won. Exhaustion defeated him.

tbh, I hate floyd fighting like he did. Knowing what he's capable of, watching him walking in a straight line just walkingdown a guy is like.... omg! what a waste of talent. It's like watching leonardo davinci behaving like a caveman, just sad, but hey! I understand.

    Lol. Are you serious?

Mayweather totally disrespected him. Mayweather chose to fight like that. Mayweather was defensive in the first round, just to prove that he could fight McGregor like that.

Instead Mayweather marched forward as a 40 year old, non-puncher, and whupped McGregor, AKA, "I will never take a back step."

If you really believe this, PLEASE convince McGregor to fight the winner of Canelo vs GGG.

When McGregor is unconscious, he can just say he decided to take a nap in the ring because of his "stamina" issue, and it had nothing to do with the punches connecting.

    Lol.

You guys are too much if you believe this.

Lol. No he did not. Not even Conor himself thinks he won the first six rounds.

Guys always would've won if they had better conditioning, a better chin, more power, more speed, better timing etc.... excuses, excuses. The only thing that matters is that Connor got walked down, bullied and stopped by a clearly shot, ancient, much smaller 40 year old Floyd

I heard a radio person claim that Conner could hang with GGG or Canelo with a little more seasoning. He based it off of his performance. I couldn't help but lol.

Hate it?! I give him loads of respect for actually going on the front foot!
Just shows how talented the likes of Tyson, lomachenko and Roberto Duran are.
It's an art form floyd couldn't master
    Cave man? Lol

The fact that they are celebrating the fact that a fighter with 50 times the professional experience won a fight that he was behind on the cards says it all.

You should add that longtime Floyd fans on this board are also in ecstasy over this fight. They're posting on this board today literally crying with delight. They think this was a great victory for Floyd.

He only lost because of his lack of conditioning. No other reason pal.

Mayweather was clearly carrying McGregor, letting him work and trying to make it look like less of the farce that it was but actually got p*ssed off at what McGregor was offering. After the 4th or 5th round he said something to McGregor like "come on, fight. Show me something. Where's your power?". It was like something you'd see with a guy sparring a novice and trying to get him try harder lol.

Not even Conor believed in his delusion that he swept the first 6 rounds. He gave himself 2 rounds

You can't separate a fighter and their conditioning so stop with this nonsense ''if his conditioning was better'' it's beyond pathetic. A complete fighter is suppose to be in top shape, with all the skill and conditioning.

That is what Conor sold to casuals like you. He sold you that he was bigger, better, more powerful and would show boxing something new. He did accomplish the latter, for we rarely see a prime fighter at 29 years of age completely gas after just 3 rounds.

lol I don't derive myself self-esteem by living vicariously through achievements of others I ride my own coattails nobody else's, regardless if that particular achievement is the single greatest event win of all time or not.

Er. I fully expected Floyd to get the rank novice 0-0-0 MMA fighter out of there in a couple of rounds.

And this is the whole point - Mystic Mac did not ''get schooled''. In fact, he was the one who was schooling ''TBE'' for the first 5 rounds. He was the teacher and Floyd was his pupil. Floyd couldn't do anything with him until his gas tanks were totally empty and even then it took him ages to get him out of there. While Mystic Mac still had air in his lungs he was totally out boxing, out slicking, and out thinking ''TBE'.

Floyd, like I've said many times before, cannot deal with slickness. People harp on about the size advantage but Mystic Mac was actually the quicker, slicker man in there and shockingly the better boxer. His defence was better too, better than one of the supposed best defensive boxers of all time. If they were the same size Floyd wouldn't have been able to lay a glove on him. Mystic Mac has the reflex's of a Matrix mongoose even though he was nearly 20lbs heavier than ''TBE''.

Like I said, Floyd cannot deal with slickness. Go watch his sparring session against that junkie Paul ''William Burroughs'' Spadafora for further confirmation of this. He got totally out slicked and lit up by the smaller man, and last night the same thing happened against a bigger man. It's clearly not a coincidence.

Mystic Mac is patently a much better athlete than Floyd. Even if he had just 2% of the boxing experience Floyd has under his belt he would've won. I don't see how this is even debatable. Imagine if he'd been boxing as long as Floyd has, you think it would even be competitive? This was proven last night and proven resoundingly.
