lol Is that what this fight proved to you? It didn't prove anything to me, one way or the other.

:banana:An mma fighter with a boxing record of 0-0 easily handled Floyd until he grew tired. Deal with it.

I guess you haven't seen too many pbf fights. During his career usually when he faces a southpaw he walks them down behind a high guard and still displayed great defense. He got hit last night for 2 reasons 1 he's 40 and coming off a 2 year lay off he's shot. 2. He had no respect for conor or his power. Go back and watch pbfs earlier fights before making such a novice like ignorant post.

I cannot believe I'm reading that a good # of MMA fighters thought this was stopped too early. SMH. :hang:hang

Conor was taking shot after shot and throwing nothing, he had trouble even standing straight and was getting pummelled. Any more of that and he could have been stretchered out.

And not only that, but Floyd did the opposite of what most Mcgregor fans were thinking. It was supposed to be Floyd "running" and winning in boring fashion. Instead, he walked down a man who had 20lbs on him, is 13 years younger, and battered him. Floyd was there to be hit all night and Mcgregor, who supposedly had extensive amateur boxing experience and loads of power according to fans, could do absolutely nothing. This was a 40 year old Floyd who hasn't fought like that since the Pretty Boy days.

No he was being totally out boxed for 5 rounds by MMA fighter who is a rank novice in the sport of boxing and had never had a single pro boxing bout before. Anyone can ''walk down'' someone who is a spent force and has no air in their lungs and no gas in their tanks. Size means absolutely nothing in such scenarios. If you're running on empty you have nothing to give. A flyweight could walk down a HW if the later was a dead man walking. Nothing impressive or surprising about that.

It's the single greatest event win of all time. Floyd is a truly great fighter but so is Mystic Mac to do what he did last night.

Whose fault is it that Mcgregor ran out of gas?

To be honest, the fact that you got some sort of moral victory from that so-called "fight" is pretty sad. What is making MMA look bad is the reactions of its fan base.

Boxing now puts two of MMA's greatest ever stars to the sword.

First Holly Holmes and Amanda Nunes had to annihilate Ronda Rousey, Now floyd sends Mcgregoy back on the whiskey bottle.

This is what an accomplished in shape boxer does to a mma fighter inside the octagon.

Here's the rub. Floyd wouldn't last more than 60 seconds in the Octagon with McGregor. Any version of Floyd. It would be a total mismatch.

Well, at least you'll sleep well keeping that on your mind. In a boxing ring, he gets battered by a 40 year old Floyd.

Er. McGregor's. He's always had terrible stamina.

Mystic Mac with good stamina beats Floyd 100 times out of 100.

    5-0 Mystic Mac would've won.

If Mystic Mac had been boxing as long as Floyd had it's not even a competitive fight. Last night proved that resoundingly. He's just a much better athlete.

The only thing that cost Mcgregor a totally dominant victory was his lack of experience in pacing himself. He owned that ring for the first six rounds. Watch the fight again and this time with your glasses on.

How is it even comparable? Floyd has never trained to kick, wrestle, do takedowns, defend whilst on the floor etc.

McGreggor has trained in hand to hand combat although not as a boxer

A much better athlete? The man is 27 and has less stamina than a 40 year old retired boxer. Just stop.
