Anyone who utters the words "I hurted him" isn't long for this game, and I'll take great pleasure in watching him crash and burn. Cesspit of a human being.

Makes Broner seem like a astrophysicist.

Yep him along with the Charlo brothers are the future American stars. Hope he doesn't waste his undeniable talent.

This guy doesn't have it upstairs to compete and legitimately beat anyone at the elite level. He might get a gift decision from one if he manages to finish the fight standing, but only having speed and power does not make a great fighter. At best he has a Adrien Broner with the ceiling of maybe a Zab Judah type of career to look forward too. Basically he will make some money, have somewhat of a fanbase, but lose by either lopsided decision or stoppage everytime he actually steps up to fight the elite of whatever division.

This is disrespectful to Zab, even with Zab's issues, he managed to become
the Undisputed WW champion. and was a multiple time titlist. That's a hell of
a career. Tank has not shown he's gonna even sniff that type of success yet,

Davis didn't look too good in there Saturday, he seemed to completely overlook his opponent and caught up in the whole event. He's very lucky he didn't have someone like Salido across from him( he probably doesn't overlook Salido like he did Fonseca though).

Davis has some skill and talent and put together a couple nice performances in before Saturday,he really does seem to be on the slow side mentally though and his power might diminish moving up.

He needs to mature if he plans on having a good career and I'd like to see him in with a good second tier kind of guy at 135( Salido, Commey, Lundy, etc) before writing him off.

I could see a fight with Garcia in a fight or two if Garcia stays at 135 and Davis grabs a couple meaningful there. Would sell well and be an easy fight to make.

Saturday went about as bad as it could for him despite getting the W. he didn't look good, the fight was dull probably the worst on the card and he won with controversy and jim grey hammered him and he stammered through a shitty explanation

people at my fight party were saying how he clowned him since he had no fear or respect but I thought he started taunting out of frustration that this guy wouldn't fall down and landed and Davis struggled on offense

I mean he can learn from this show up in better shape and more serious and this can be the one off learning experience or it can be the sign of disasters to follow

And people trashed Lomachenko for losing a close decision, marred by ugly tactics against Salido.
Can you imagine what would've happened if Salido fought Gervonta the other day?

I honestly don't see any comparison between the 2 at all. Curry was like the Joe Louis of the 80s stylistically in his prime. Beatiful to watch at his best. Davis reminds me more of Ian Napa with power. Not world class but technically talented when focus.

If that was Salido fighting instead of Fonseca I can see Davis being the overwhelmed and frustrated with Salido's pressure and dirty tactic. He would have gotten his first loss, or perhaps a gift decision.

He looked off, commentators said he was sick. Just a poor performance, no excuses.

    Adapt or die.

I did. You made it sound like as if Davis fought similarly to Curry, which I don't see.

He is very gifted is Tank Davis. Was not happy he did not make the weight but he promised it won't happen again.

Salido is an old man who has lost 13 fights and just lost to Roman Martinez.

    Davis beats him easily.
