Fishnet stockings? Maybe DLH was just ahead if his time.

Nothing to do with the last fight, it is a general point about all fights, I know you have a history of not being able to see what is right in front of you, but let's keep this on topic and not let it descend into another Floyd v McGregor thread. God knows there has been enough of them.

I completely agree with him. But then there isn't really any other way to do it.

This type of thinking really perplexes me. Before the fight, McGregor bragged that he was too big and too strong and that he would walk Mayweather down and stop him within 2 rounds.

He said he would never take a back step and would never get tired. What happened?

Mayweather, who hasn't had a legitimate knock down since the Hatton fight marched forward, bullied McGregor, and stopped him.

That's the most embarrassing way to lose. I don't see how anyone could claim victory in that.

All it's doing is instilling a false sense of bravado in McGregor and confidence in his fans that he could compete with GGG or Canelo. This is exactly what they want to happen because it will result in a travesty in the ring, with MMA's best fighter looking petrified as he is pummeled repeatedly until he quits in the ring again.

We all knew that Floyd would cream him. I put money on Floyd. I was pretty sure that Mc would have a hard time landing leather on Floyd. But daaammmn ... Mc landed a ton of punches and had Floyd looking stupid at times. Not at all what I expected.

No, what's embarrassing is an alleged ATG fighter having such flat feet that a

boxer is able to circle around him and take his back and virtually dry hump him while all he can do is cover up like a fat kid getting his licks from the school bully.

Christ I hope Conor isn't that dumb. I don't think he is.

    Compubox has two purposes.
    1. If the fighter they are rooting for lost a decision but ahead of compubox stats, then compubox is like the gospel. It proves their fighter won.
    2. If their fighter lost a decision and behind on compubox, then compubox does not account for the "quality" of the punches and it pure bull.

I think Mayweather gave up his back in some cases, so that McGregor would throw illegal blows.

I imagine that depending on the statute of limitations, and what was stipulated in the contract, that Mayweather's legal team will eventually come to collect.

I think the goal is to get McGregor to fight with GGG and Canelo first, so he can be completely humiliated, and then Mayweather will take McGregor to court for the amount he owes for using illegal tactics in the fight.

Without having read the contract though, I'm not sure what was in it. I am merely speculating. I just think it's not over for McGregor yet.

I also believe that if McGregor fights GGG or Canelo, the same clause about illegal tactics will be put in their contract, so after he gets devastated in the ring, there might be two claims against McGregor.

So this might actually be the worst possible situation he'll ever be in.

    Good post, and interesting views.

I don't agree, but if Floyd does sue Mc, then you will seem like a damn prophet!

Floyd's stats were completely off. He threw and landed little throughout most of the fight.

I could count on both hands how many punches Mayweather landed in the first five rounds. Deal with it.

Never trust punch stats. Notoriously inaccurate.
