Yes it is pretty stale but I do miss the Calzaghe threads. And yes he was good. He didn't move up earlier cuz prime RJJ was great, but as soon as Roy's athleticism and reflexes started to fade he took advantage. Being smart is also part of being good.

Well, Food is stupid for several reasons:

    1. Not having security at his house or have it locked..

    2. Not having someone tell him someone was at his home..

    3. Illegally having an illegal IV and leaving it in the open the night before the biggest fight of the time..

    4. Paying off USADA and the NSAC but getting caught by the guys you paid off..

    5. Letter having the guys you already paid off and caught you doing something illegal, later say you did nothing wrong..

He should add the part about Food sneaking into the contract a clause that allowed USADA to not follow WADA protocol. That's important because otherwise USADA would be breaking their mandate which explicitly states that they would follow WADA rules. Rules which implicitly makes IV use an instant ban.

The obvious thing about this clause is that Fluid's team planned to use PED/IV all along, otherwise why sneak a clause like that in there in the first place? Meaning this wasn't an accident, he planned to die from dehydration the whole time????

My son is also not a professional boxer. My point is you can't look at somebody and decide medically they are not dehydrated. Its possible Manny was and has been on something for a while. He hasn't got caught so I have nothing to say. I imagine lots of athletes are breaking the rules and getting away with it. I really doubt Mayweather is on anything.

It doesn't matter what his condition is. It's against the rules to use IV period. And for the record, it is spelled out on USADA and WADA website per their rules, IV is not the way to go for dehydration. There is no leeway to use IV for dehydration. And medically if you have to have an IV due to hospitalization, there is a strict limit of amount/per hour. There is much debate on IV use for dehydration and yet there is no scientific proof that IV use is any better than drinking water. About the only advantage to IV use over drinking water, is that with IV is that ironically you don't have drink water and you can take an IV while laying down and resting.

Thus at the end of the day the excuse that he was dying of dehydration is bogus.

    Exactly.
    It's very clear cut.

An IV is against the rules. It's not recommended for common dehydration, and is not alllowed.
The only time a TUE can be administered for an IV would be a medical emergency, which means something seriously wrong and hospitalization.

Unlikely to happen ever to a fighter in training, nevermind at the end of a camp or the day before a fight !

If Mayweather was dying the night before the fight, that's a very serious issue. The fight would be called off. He's undergoing a medical emergency, he's dying ..... ???? ..... No, obviously that wasn't happening.

He cheated. The authorities conspired to cover up for the cheating. The authorities just swept this thing under the carpet.

Who on earth takes an IV drip to produce a urine sample anyway ??
    Ha ha, it's ludricrous.

The quickness way to make yourself pee is drinking water, not fixing your veins up to a bag of saline.
