If this fight is happening then Vargas needs to get the stoppage like he did with Ali because there is noway he is getting a decision in Australia no matter how many rounds he wins as proven in the Pac Horn fiasco. There is a reason Horn's team are going with Vargas he is not a big puncher and if it goes to the score cards they know they will get the decision. This is why they are not giving the top contender Matthysse a look in as they know he bangs and would iron Horn out quickly.

Irrelevant? Choc is a league legend, hiphop superstar, Australian boxing and the god damn pioneer. Name one other fighter who went from swm to Danny weight and won 2 times in one night? Ur shameful.

When are Foxtel going to get off their lazy backsides and start promoting the best young talent in Australian boxing?

Why aren't we seeing Toussaint, Junior Tszyu, Opetaia & Super Hooper on our television screens?

The best performance by an Australian in a professional boxing ring this year may have been Super Hooper against that then-unbeaten Russian.

Only problem is no-one saw it. Foxtel couldn't be bothered covering it.

Why don't they want to give any air-time to the best Aboriginal boxer in the country?

How about televising Toussaint v Junior Tszyu for the Australian Middleweight championship or Opetaia v Super Hooper for the Australian Cruiserweight championship?

And pay them what they deserve for taking such tough fights - $100k each.

I guess Foxtel is too busy doing the sums for Mundine v Green 3 for the Australian Meaninglessweight championship.

Foxtel Have given Aussie boxing chances time after time and constantly get served up rubbish. Foxtel are doing a good job showing international fights these days so why waste there time on domestic rubbish.
$100K each? LOL you are off your head pal. And who is going to pay this sort of money?

Foxtel is like Midnite Howler on a work for the dole program - they just won't put in.

Foxtel shouldn't accept domestic rubbish. They should insist on decent match-ups the like of which I've mentioned and should pay accordingly.

If Toussaint fights Tszyu and Opetaia fights Hooper, the four guys concerned are putting their careers and future earning ability on the line.

$100k is reasonable remuneration for doing that.
