    1. Round 1

GGG immediately advances towards Canelo with deadly intentions and misses repeatedly with jabs and hooks as Canelo bobs and weaves out of the way while countering with light jabs. GGG tries to swarm Canello and lands a hook. Canelo clinches and the ref separates them. Canelo lands an uppercut which sets GGG back on his heals. GGG catches Canello with two jabs. Canelo counters with his own Jab and the round finishes with the men in a jabbing contest.

      Round 2

Again GG rushes forward but this time behind two jabs which Canelo flush, Canelo counters with a right to the midsection and evades two more GGG jabs while landing one of his own. GGG tries to corner Canelo on the ropes but this time Canelo chooses to exchange and is wobbled by a left hook and clinches.

      Round 3.

GGG lands two jabs and is countered with a short left/right hook combo which temporarily stops his forward momentum. He counters Canelo to the body and lands a right hook to the head which wobbles Canelo for the second time in the fight. Canelo lands two jabs and ducks under to GGG hooks.

      Round 4

Canelo is told to avoid close exchanges and comes out cautiously only striving to jab and counter. GGG comes forward striving to close the distance but the jab keeps him at bay. GGG briefly corners Canelo but Canelo moves laterally away after landing short uppercut. GGG once more closes the distance and lands a powerful hook to Canel's midsection which temporarily doubles him over. GGG moves in for the kill but Canelo successfully evades and lands two jabs.

      Round 5

Fighters meet at center ring and GGG lands once more to the body as a follow through to his last round and is countered with two Canelo hooks and an uppercut, GGG lands a murderous left to Canelo's jaw sending him reeling back towards the ropes. Thinking that Canelo is ready to go GGG rushes in and is caught by an uppercut and a right cross. Fighters clinch. Canelo is cut under the right eye.

      Round 6

Canelo is once more told to stick and move while GGG is told that Canelo is ready to go and confidently seeks to close the distance but is effectively kept at bay via Canelo jabs. GGG begins counter jab with jab and the round becomes a jabbing contest in which Canelo comes out slightly ahead on connecrts although landing the less powerful ones.

The Mexican crowd is now chanting : Canelo! Canelo!

      Round 7

Seemingly invigorated by the chanting, Canelo ignores his corner' advice and takes the fight to GGG in center ring. Both men exchange shots to the body and head. Canelo is landing more but GGG is landing the more powerful blows. The cut under Canelo's eye is getting worse and the doctor is called in to examine it. Round finishes with Canelo driven to the ropes where he tries to di the Mayweather thing with medium success.

      Round 8

Face glistening with Vaseline and medication on his cut Canelo once more is on the defensive forcing GGG into a jabbing contest where he is outpointing him but getting caught with the harder punches. There is a welt on one of GGG's cheekbones now and blood trickling from his nose.

      Round 9

With the crowd once more in a fanatical frenzy Canelo once more ignores his corner's advise and decides to trade with GGG. This time he weathers the storm better and both men connect with shots to the body and head. Canelo is severely reprimanded in his corner for taking the risk.

      Round 10

Canelo is once more working behind a jab and using evasive maneuvers to thwart GGG's attempts to close the distance. Sidestepping a GGG combination Canelo lands an uppercut which this time sends GGG reeling back.

Thinking he has GGG in serious trouble Canelo moves to close the distance but is met with a hook to the midsection and right to the head which wobbles his knees. Canelo clinches. Canelo lands two jabs as GGG moves in fior the kill. Bell rings.

      Round 11

Told that he might be behind on points, Canelo picks up the pace.
Told that the only way he can win is by KO or TKO GGG tries to finish it.

Canelo feigns as if he’s out to make it a jabbing war while GGG moves in with his own jab seeking to corner Canelo against the ropes. They exchange jabs as Canelo back away and slips a left and right while landing a right of his own,.

A left jab fllowed by right cross stops GGG momentarily and Canelo lands an uppercut which sends him reeling backwards. This time Canelo hesitates to move in and Golovkin smiles in response. Canelo is cautiously closing the distance but runs into a left hook the stops him in his tracks and causes him to clinch. Bell rings

    12 Round
The crowd is once more chanting: "Canelo! Canelo!"

Both men are told by their corner to win this round at all costs.

The cut beneath Canelo’s eyes is bleeding copiously and Golokin has another nasty welt on the other cheekbone.

They touch gloves, and the final round is on.

Canelo lands a left right combo and catches an uppercut for the first time in the bout. Lands another left right but Golovkin counters with a powerful left hook that sends him reeling back. GGG moves in for the kill but is stopped by a blow to the pit of the stomach which draws a warning from the ref to keep them up. Winded from the body shot GGG chooses to use his jab and the two men finish the fight during that jabbing duel.

    Fight over!

    Golovkin KO9 Canelo.

Canelo does well early and everybody gets their hopes up.

Mid fight he can't keep up with the pace and the bodywork.

Round 9 Canelo is exhausted on the ropes, trying to catch a breather, but the ropes are the worst place to fight GGG from.

    KO!

You heard it here first :p;)

Much batter than letting him get butchered unnecessarily. On the other hand the possibility of the GGG corner throwing in the towel isn't completely out of the question either.
