watched all their important fights as prep for the fight and kirkland fight stood out

canelo is headstrong and that will be his downfall.

kirkland wanted to slug with him and canelo complied

now that canelo is calling the shots in his career he wants to fight golovkin

this macho mentality is going to serve golovkin when he makes it into a streetfight

this is going to turn into a brawl from round one

because the person who hits harder and has a sturdier beard win brawls

    HOWEVER

if canelo decides to spoil by running, fouling, holding, he can make it to twelve and its up in the air at that point...i dont think he is despicable enough to do that.

i can definitely agree with anyone saying he can win as long as they concede that he must do it despicably

It al depends what you mean by running. Do you consider what Mayweather usually has been doing as running?

I had a feeling Canelo was luring Kirkland out a bit. GGG likes to do this as well sometimes. Let the opponent build up some confedence by letting them hit a little. Then suddenly return some hard killing shots.

thats a good question. but mayweather does things no one else can, he does run but its easy to confuse that with his skills.

running is just moving away the whole time because you are outclassed. if canelo is surviving because of solely running then hes just trying to get a cheap win on cards that he may not desreve

But in the end GGG is no Kirkland and no Khan either.

    And Canelo is no Jacobs.

And that really sums up the odds for this fight.

What is all this talk of Canelo running? I am routing for GGG. But I respect Canelo. And I have never seen him run.

me neither, we should get the same canelo as always.

he is a honorable man, but golovkin is a monster and might spook him

Canelo has never been KOD by one punch like Jacobs has neither has Canelo ever been floored and beaten by a fighter whom Canelo outweighed by 20 pounds as Jacobs has. So you are right, Canelo isn't any Jacobs.

If he does as well as Jacobs; Wins 3 possibly 4 rounds only getting dropped once then he is getting a decision.

Canelo could also try to box, like he did with Mayweather, which turned out to be the worst gameplan he could ever have against Mayweather...

Really??!!! Please tell me who this fighter was that floored Jabobs while weighing 20 lbs less. My friend says he didn't know his full name, only that his first name is Gennady. I think it's so funny that that guy has the first same name as GGG!!!!
