yeah exactly! Lee's class will shine through now! after watching the vera fight im sure he has worked on alot of things to tidy up his game! Vera wouldnt dare risk the opportunity he has now by fighting Lee again, so Andy must get the worlds attention by showing everyone some impressive displays!
Yeah, I still maintain Lee is our best prospect, even allowing for the setback against Vera:fire.A rematch with issVera IS A MUST.He needs to exercise those demons so he can progress with his career.
we would love it to happen of course, Lee himself moreso than anyone but theres no incentive for vera really. But I havent heard anything so if anyone has any updates, let us know.
JAMES MOORE READY TO RUMBLE ON ESPN2 WEDNESDAY NIGHT FIGHTS http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=15948&more=1
dunne...i think..u can watch this fight..on 7pm friday on channel 5...im not sure if its on live in Ireland tonight...
Ardy, what's your take on James Moore. Has he the potential to go all the way to a world title. Is the Light Middleweight division a strong one in your opinion? Obviously at 30, he's not getting any younger, so if he is to make a serious impact I feel that his team need to start ramping his level of competition in the near future. Interested in your thoughts.
Lads, its good to be positive (so i'm told) but be realistic for a minute.Lee didn't lose to Pavlik/Taylor or Miranda but to a modest middleweight with average power and average skills. Vera exposed a number of flaws in Lee that showed us he is a long way of challenging for a title. He needs to steadily work his way up the ladder, time is on his side.Hopefully Pavlik will be at 168 soon leaving the middleweight division as one of the weakest in boxing
184 pages and I think its time to give respect to the late Al Gavin. He spent his entire life in the fight game and probably forgot more than any of of else will ever learn. A good piece on him. http://www.secondsout.com/USA/news.cfm?ccs=229&cs=13810 http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/more_sports/2008/06/03/2008-06-03_late_al_gavin_sr_should_be_considered_fo.html
Another undefeated irish fighter loses!! The cards were way off but regardless Moore looked very limited. It didn't look like Moore had any power. At 30 his future looks bleak.
