HBO PPV: Gennady Golovkin vs. Saul Alvarez & Randy Caballero vs. Diego De La Hoya RBR.

I wish George Foreman was still commentating because he would tell Max, Jim and Roy to **** off and go back to their hotel rooms to pick up their money in envelopes from De La Hoya. And that's why George always said he tried his best to knock his opponents out, you never leave it to the judges because you'll get screwed. They think that people will be suckered into a rematch so HBO and Golden Boy can get more money but people are smarter than that, and if there's a rematch people should take a stand and not buy it. This was the last big boxing event in who knows how long and they knew it and they had to screw it up, but why are we all surprised? This fight involved a guy that fought Mayweather and magically got a draw too.

Boxing can't get a new Tyson, Foreman or Dempsey soon enough, so these judges and promoters won't be able to screw these fighters who work extremely hard over.

 

I scored the 1st 3 and last 2 rounds for Canelo and the rest for GGG with a few close rounds in those rounds I gave to GGG.

I know what you mean pal,like there was tales from some corners of a fix being in,now I found this hard to fathom since it would mean both parties would be in on it,what makes me suspicious is those last three championship rounds.

 

Disgrace card, just insane 118-110. She needs to be put in jails right away. That is insult to the sport of highest level.
There has to be a lot of Canelo fans here, who are blinded by bias, to say draw was a good score, cause it was not.
Clearly win for GGG, by atleast 4 rounds. I has it 8-4 or at best 7-5 for GGG.
No way Canelo even get close to drow. No way this is good result.
Travesty decision.
I feel for GGG.
And Canelo nut**** here should just listen to the fans in the arena after the fight and when they said the scorecards.
Even his fans was not happy and was pops for GGG and booed Canelo .... That`s shows you who won the fight.

canelo should have lost this one...but in a rematch, canelo takes it easy...

body shots really hurt ggg's power...if canelo can minimize backpedalling too much, he wins rematch...

 

Seeing them landing shots on each other makes me say to myself "Are you crazy?" to think it could be a fix but it doesn't seem right to me. Maybe I'm blinkered by what Golovkin used to be because he wasn't the same fighter I'm used to seeing tonight.

 

Yes GGG should have won, but I can see one of the 7 rounds I scored for GGG being scored for Canelo. Some of them were close.

Canelo fans here are happy because deep down they know their man got bailed out from a loss that he should've gotten.

 

Punch stats don't matter, several fights tonight like De La Hoya vs Caballero were like that. Caballero outlanded DLH 22-11 in round 1 but almost everyone scored it for DLH. I thought Canelo landed the or telling blows in the 10th.
