GGG can only blame himself.

That's a bad excuse come on, it's a boxing match. You do what you've got to do to win or survive, Canelo had plenty of success in the fight too.

    Golovkin clearly won the fight.

What about the other judge that had it a draw? Golovkin and his team knew the score. I wanted Golovkin to win and put in a great performance but he doesn't have it in the tank anymore.

He looked to have more in the tank than Canelo to me. Canelo had to fight conservatively and in spurts.

I think in the closing rounds Golovkin looked like he would have been the one to go of the pair if one was going to get stopped, he's looked vulnerable in the last two fights in the closing rounds.

I think GGGs power is fine, just Canelo didn't have the glass chin we (or I) expected him to have.

GOOD fight... As everyone, I am still baffled about the 118-110 card ( Vegas... lara knows it)

I don't like Canelo, but he really surprised me.. He has improved, He learned a lot, better footwork, better movements, faster, and good defense (even if sometimes he was trying to look like mayweather hahaha LMAO)

Concerning GGG, I think that he is not as good as he was (because of his age maybe) .
I don't know why he didn't use those dangerous bodyshots.. It would have made the difference, for sure.
I had the impression that he was scared to use combinations and to be counter-punched

But He deserved to win the fight.
I appreciate GGG's humble attitude, really friendly whereas canelo was arrogant.
Anyway, we'll see the rematch and there are opponents who could beat canelo : Jacobs, Charlo, even Chris Eubank Jr would give him some problems.

NB: excuse my english i'm a stuent from france!

Wow the canelo brain washing really taking over ...this is what's killing boxing. Ggg somehow is to blame for not knocking canelo out....ggg created all the pressure and out worked him. Yes canelo had some flashy moments but that's not enough to win a fight. Cash cow gets another gift. I like canelo but the gift decisions really leave a bad taste...how he had the nerve to claim he won 8rnds !!

GG actually didnt connect ****. He missed nonstop the whole night. Plus the biggest puches were delivered by canelo. GG's wonderful footwork, suddenly became worse than canelo's!!! wtf! gg looked like provodnikov in the very end of the fight.

Canelo didnt win this fight clearly because his workrate was under the floor, for whatever reason. And, no, that reason was not gg's power, since that wonderful power was gone once he arrived to the middle of the fight. Canelo just didnt throw, it was so weird. But the better fighter yesterday was the ginger one.

Chanting something like a mantra won't magically make it a reality nor lend it any more credence than it deserves. However, therefore, and nevertheless, it does have a certain cathartic value of expunging bitterness based on disappointment from the human psyche-

Yes he has slowed down at age 35. Fighters with his style age quicker, but if GGG would have scored a knockdown in say the 7th round, I think the Judges would just take two more later round away from him if needed.

This was the worst robbery in years.

    Thanks, will do.

    BTW
For some reason the avatar fellow conveys a very low IQ. Don't know. Maybe its the way his ears flare out in conjunction with the pyramidal way that his skull tapers?

GGG's problem all night long was Canelo's stubborn refusal to oblige by hitting the canvass whenever GGG savagely bludgeoned his skull. Instead the upstart Mexican dared to barely blink and disrespectfully fired back instead. Ohhhhh the outrage!

Couldn't adjust? He was winning the fight.
