GGG won't be the same fighter after this

    Regardless of how you scored the fight GGG took a hell of a lot of punishment, more so than in any other fight.. He gave it his ALL and was able to win most of the middle rounds but he paid a higher price than any time in his career.

    This fight very likely put GGG on the down side of his prime and took very much out of him.

    Canelo did get pressured but didnt get the same beating in return except for a small handful of clean punches that landed sporadically here and there.

    Glad GGG got a nice pay because I see him getting hurt in his next fight against an elite fighter.

    I have never seen Canelo get hit so much in a fight and he is only 27... yes ggg got tagged but Jacobs hit him with some crazy shots as well...

    Jacobs may have landed more power punches on him, need to look it up.

    Edit: Yep. Jacobs landed 30 more power punches than did Nelo.

    No one has ever hit GGG with all those body shots and he has never been countered that way.

    Who are you trying to kid?

    Canelo was in a good position to win that fight but allowed GGG back into the contest in the middle rds, Canelo never looked hurt

    Yes ggg was hit also... I'm not saying he wasn't but I think ggg is used to being hit more than Canelo is... Canelo has always evaded being hit because of his badass defense and upper body movement... don't get me wrong, I'm a Canelo fan as well... he did good body work in the first 3 rounds... then ggg adjusted

    Then why was he running in survival mode most of the fight ???
    Damn...what fight were you guys watching ???

    I watched with a group of Canelo fans that had money on him.
    They were resigned to the idea that their man lost and congratulated GGG !

    Then the Lara decision came down and they didn't buy it...!!!

    We'll see. It was the sort of fight that could've taken a lot out of both fighters, both have splendid chins and needed them too lol

    Punishment? Canelo didn't do enough to really sniff a win. It was a boring fight

    Punishment?
    The only punishment dished out was to the fans eyes and ears who watched the broadcast.
    The fans there live atleast couldnt hear the bs roy and max were spewing. Thats why they booed that red head *****.

    i agree with that and yet the guy was gassed and couldnt do ****. The whole fight starting with the build up, to the announcers bs, to the actual fight was garbage. No rematch please. Another black eye for the sport.
