GGGift is getting KO'd next time. It's good he's in great shape and take a beating but box he cannot.

Correct. I think the point is simply that it's Team Canelo who aren't sure about an immediate rematch.

Good thread! Lewis fans were also terrified of rematching Holyfield.

I don't think GGG's team are sure of a rematch, his fans definitely aren't.

One thing we can definitely agree on, is GGG fans will certainly have to change their tune next time, hundreds of them on here were obnoxiously saying it was going to be the easiest fight ever, that view turned out to be wrong, and they wont be saying that again, which is telling, because they know deep down GGG did not remotely do enough to ever trouble Canelo, even when Canelo was standing right in front of him on the ropes, GGG could not find a telling shot.

So how they think it is going to be easier next time is beyond me!

It's the right fight but it's for the wrong reason.

GGG fans? The majority of people are saying he won this fight, including the professionals who said Canelo had an edge in this fight.

But you're right, I am afraid of him taking a rematch against Canelo because there's always fraud in his fights with at least one of the judges. If GGG wasn't given the victory now, there is no way he'll beat Canelo by decision in a rematch, even if he wins every single round (assuming they're all close).

Canelo will not want to there again.end of the day he hit golovkin with everything he had but he kept coming.if they have a rematch he will have to stand and trade which will end one way.think Alvarez thought golovkin was too old and easy pickings .

Canelo won more rounds than GGG on the overall cumulative score of all 3 ringside judges. So GGG is lucky he is going home having scraped a draw on a technicality.

Damn right GGG was lucky to get a draw. That could have very well ended up being a even bigger debacle if that 114-114 card gave one more round to Alvarez. But then the rematch most likely wouldn't have happened. I think GBP wanted it that way
