I've just re-watched the Julian Jackson vs Terry Norris bout and astonished how Terry made it to his feet within the 10 seconds even though it was stopped. It looked like he was asleep for 4 of the seconds. What other fighters out there have made it back to there feet after a devastating knock down? Maybe even came back to win it? Would love to watch some more of these.
Ruddock quickly getting up from that left hook in the 6th was surprising. I thought the fight should not have been stopped when it was. This content is protected
Michael Carbajal-Robinson Cuesta. Cuesta got up from a brutal knockdown at one point where he looked done. Carbajal eventually stopped him though.
Thanks man! I hadn't seen this before, what a fight. How the hell did he survive that in the 3rd round! This is exactly the type of fight I was looking for.
I think I watched this fight a day or 2 after it happened. I couldn't believe how much Darchinyan was able to take, tough man for sure. Always been a fan of Donaire.
That hook Curry took from Mccallum in the 5th. Stretched him out like a baby getting their diaper changed but he made it to his feet somehow.
Brutal! Montiel took some unneeded punches in the end, ref should have stopped it immediately. How he got up from that before the count is crazy.
Just finished watching this as it was only 17 minutes long. Really good fight, it was competitive until that vicious left hook landed. I could watch these all day. I hadn't seen this before so thanks!
If i remember correctly, Donaire dented a bone in Montiels cheek. http://www.boxingnews24.com/2011/02...o-fix-a-hairline-fracture-in-right-cheekbone/ God damn!
How Tommy Hearns managed to get back up after Hagler brutalized him was mind blowing. The referee had no choice but to stop it because Tommy was in la la land, but he did back on his feet.
