I would tend to agree with you if BJS hadn't looked just awful in his last fight.

Cotto would make the most monetary sense for GGG and Cotto. Cotto is nearing the end and he couldn't make this kind of money in 3 fights he'd make with Gennady. And as the Canelo judges will attest, its all about the money

Preferably Cotto in December - Saunders in June - Canelo in September in that order IMO. Then he can call it a day.

    In order of importance, imo.

    1 - Canelo II
    2 - Jacobs II
    3 - Saunders
    --------------------

And then hopefully by the time he gets those three out of the way, a showdown with Charlo will have some nice momentum.... and that would be my next opponent for G.

If he cant get any of those guys (because boxing sucks like that), then in all honesty, I wouldnt mind a Lara fight. I know everyone hates lara and Im the only one that would be interested in this fight, but really... if G cant get a good fight then I think Lara is a decent filler opponent. Like it or not he would still be one of G's more accomplished and higher rated p4p opponents hes ever fought, and it would give him more experience against guys who are going to try to be slick on him to help him stay in the groove against that style leading into the rematch with Canelo. I just think theres plenty of worse fights for G than someone that would help give him more experience against defensive boxers, while also being one of his better opponents to date, a common opponent with Canelo, to help lead in to a Canelo rematch.... and lastly, who wouldnt want to see Lara finally dealt with in a convincing manner? Its a win win win.

    ggg vs cotto
    canelo vs mcgregor

Biggest money least risk and both need to take that bad taste out of peoples mouth with a KO.
