Decent crossroads battle... Both coming off 'losses' against higher regarded opponents were they performed with tremendous credit. Rosado was slated to face Spike O'Sullivan in Boston this week but the fight fell through. Who do you guys think takes this one?

Rosado by UD. He's just the better boxer here. Should be a tough fight for them both though. I have been wrong pretty much all year though.

I like both. They are both gatekeeper who get destroyed by elite fighter but they are always game.

Rosado UD by being a bit better

Rosado by decision. He's the fresher of the two, and probably the better all around fighter by a small margin.

These guys are probably 3 good punches away from eggplant status at this stage.

I can see how it makes sense, but part of me is feeling a little angst towards the matchmakers for making a fight guaranteed to take the last 10 percent these warriors got left in the tank.

    Gimme Rosado on points.

I absolutely can't stand Tapia. I remember his corny ass speech before Lemieux only for him to get utterly destroyed. Reminds me of Theopane's speech before fighting Cano on the Mayweather/Canelo card lol. I'll be rooting for Rosado, though it's a close fight.

Damn Rosado has to be one of the most recycled boxers in recent memory.

    Fresher????
He's older and has fought well over twice the rounds and taken plenty of brutal beatings in the past, he seems like he fights in survival mode these days, even against the likes of Monroe and Murray he just doesn't like getting hit these days.

Tapia at least tries to win and that's a why I would go with him.

Rosado takes this all the way. I actually like this match up and expect to see better version of Gabe back in the ring. I just think he made an awful mistake for hiring Vargas. Expect him to raise his game now with his old trainer.
