Certain Turds on here definitely won't but that's ok... they'll have to see his name in the record books :)

You obviously don't know what talent is you bitter little troll.
When all is said and done he will go down as possibly the greatest middleweight ever. The record books don't lie.

There's always got to be this ONE GUY sitting in the corner eating dog turd and insisting it's chocolate.

Well done, TheyDontBoxNoMore7, you're that guy.

    No he doesn't.

I do love GGG ... but there's not a chance of that. Say that in Classic, I dare you ;)

I just want him to fight a few threats before he retires

    BJS
    Jacobs 2@ 160 or 168 it doesn't matter
    Eubank Jr/WBSuperSeries winner @ 168

In that order, I could care less about another Canelo fight, Canelo might be a superstar but he's got a lot to prove @ 160
Being a big money fight doesn't make it a legacy fight, GGG would make more against McGregor than Canelo.

I would be appalled if he fought Cotto but thankfully I can't actually see that happening.

Golovkin will be missed, SOB will not. Golovkin likes to fight often, he beat some good fighters, Sturm refused to fight him, Cotto refused, Alvarez refused until he though Golovkin was too old to fight, Jacobs who was a cruiserweight was knocked down, staggered with a left jab, out boxed, he tried to fight Quillin, but Quillin refused, he came all the way to the UK to fight Eubank, then Eubank chickened out, he has been trying to get a fight with Saunders for a long time now, he fought and stopped Lemieux, he knocked out Rubio who is 6 feet 1 inches tall, hard puncher, good chin and came into the fight over weight. I think Jacobs should fight Charlo before he gets a title shot, that's after Golovkin fights Saunders, Cotto and Alvarez...................I enjoy watching him fight, he has never been boring...............not only a hard puncher, but a really skilled boxer..................

He is much bigger draw than Ward, Crawford, Wilder, Spence or any current American boxer even though he is a guy from Kazakhstan who speaks broken English. Just let that sink in...

hes a draw now but lets not overestimate it! A few fights ago he was on good ol british channel 5 in his mid 30s. That was a bit of a joke.

good fighter though, arguably elite now, i hope he gets to double figure defences before he quits

Nobody cares what people in the classic say, those guys think some Middleweight from the 50's could knock out Golovkin with a jab. They have nostalgia shoved so far up their backside that they have chronic constipation.

 In some cases, yes, that's true.

But Middleweight is insanely deep; there was a thread on there where a guy made the argument that Marvin friggin Hagler could be argued not to make the top 10 MW of all time. And he posted the list to prove it.

I think that H2H Golovkin could probably hang with anybody, but going by sheer resume he simply doesn't have the names, nor the numbers, to make him the MW GOAT. And given his age, he doesn't have the time, either, even assuming that he could find his Duran, Hearns, Leonard etc to beat.

I think that he's the best of our time, very probably the best MW since Hagler. That's high enough praise.
