He hasn't been fighting the top contenders in the division because the top two that he signed to fight decided they needed PEDs ... and they got caught ... and the fights were called.

Again, ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS NOT TAKE PEDS. Then Wilder would have wins over Povetkin and Ortiz on his resume, too.

But they took PEDS instead, because they felt they would've lost if they didn't take them.

 

Povetkin and Ortiz would be on his list of title defenses IF THEY HADN'T TAKEN PEDs.

All they had to do WAS NOT TAKE THEM. That's it.

Look at it like this add Povetkin and Ortiz to Wilders resume and there is no better resume in the division.

No. You keep leaving out the two top 10 opponents decided to take PEDS before facing Wilder and the fights were called as a result of their cheating.

What's harder is finding a heavyweight champion who was so feared by Ring top 10 opponents that TWO decided to knowingly cheat rather than face him clean. They felt less shame in being caught then the prospect of facing him clean and getting destroyed.

I don't know how that's a negative on the champion they were afraid to fight clean ...
