    I think that's a good thing. Seems like Wilder sees he jumped the gun a little and that it badly reflects on him if he fights another pushover on short notice.

    I really doubt that means anything, but I still appreciate the sentiment.

    If he had said the same thing after Povetkin got busted I would have a lot more respect for him.

    I only want to see this fight is Ortiz is cleared.

    If Wilder losses then Louis was taking PED's to win. You can't have a guy busted for drugs a month ago being a known belt holder. This whole think is finished, Stiverne will fight Wilder.

    I highly doubt Wilder would be pushing for the fight if he thought there was even the slightest chance of it happening

    If it turned out that the WBC said the fight is to good to go, wilder would be shitting his pants

    He knows there is no chance; that's why he is publicly saying this

    Ortiz was taking a beta blocker also. A beta blocker makes training more difficult because it keeps your pulse low. Beta blockers are commonly used to treat hypertension.

    Conclusion: His reason for taking HCTZ was also for blood pressure. HCTZ is usually first line therapy and beta blockers usually come later in treatment.
