Carlos Ramirez will fight Mike Reed, winner of this fight will fight against Amir Imam. Vikto Postol will wait for the winner of these fights if he gets past Progreis.

Imam will fight against Ramirez if Ramirez gets past Mike Reed. Mike Reed against Ramirez is set for 11 November.

Postol is clearly past prime. His opponent is young and hits very hard. Not a good sign for Postol - Prograis looked pretty good in his last fights

Shut up, the guy was a world champion back then, Crawford took every guy that he was "avoiding" and became undisputed champion by whooping them.

Postols shock win over Matthyse led people to overrate him at the time. Watching the Matthyse Postol fight was horrid. Bunch of holding. Matthyse winning the fight. Then he gets clipped in the eye.

    The end

Feel that its a bad style matchup for Postol, who I do think is a solid operator. I don't think he wins this one.

he was 1/14 to win that undisputed fight. the man is a genius in terms of talent but I wanna see him prove it against opponents that befit him, and we will see that over the next couple of years. I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of people saying its crazy to have Loma @ P4P No1 (which I don't btw) coz of his resume and putting Crawford there.

Below are statements regarding the super-lightweight division, with current ruler Terence Crawford on the verge of making a move up to the welterweight limit.

"At super-lightweight, if champion Terence Crawford vacates, number one contender Amir Imam will fight third ranked Jose Carlos Ramirez for the title," said the World Boxing Council.

"While number two ranked Regis Prograis will fight number four Viktor Postol for the interim title," they added.

Crawford has already put the wheels in motion to campaign seven pounds higher in his pursuit of a third weight world title as the American is linked with some big names at 147.

Ex-foe Postol, whom Crawford defeated to initially unify at 140, got back to winning ways last month due to a points win over Jamshidbek Najmiddinov and fully intends to win back his WBC belt one way or another.

Claiming the interim championship is the first step for the Ukrainian as the silver holder will then go on to battle Imam or Ramirez as mandatory challenger at some point in 2018.
