Oh hell yes. Horrible style match up for Wilder, who combines the worst of both worlds. He's a large target that doesn't move or box anywhere near well enough to keep Foreman at distance. Even old George shoves him around at will and absolutely skull****s him.

David Haye (even the current David Haye) would be a much tougher fight for old George.

Wilder would have all sorts of problems with two things: Foreman's chin and his jab.

Old Foreman had a nasty hurtful jab that was almost a power punch in its own right. Wilder is very hittable and I don't think he'd last a whole fight getting smashed in the kisser by it. Conversely, Foreman was as tough as nails and I suspect that the cross arm defence would be more than sufficient against Wilder's flappery.

I see a fight where Wilder starts out pretty well, but becomes slower and slower and more lumped up as the fight progresses. Eventually gramps lands something big and that's that for ol' Deontay.

Wilder does not have the skill to outbox Big George for 12 rounds, nor does he stop him... He's also defensively inept. If special ed teacher and part time fighter Molina can land a left hook, Duhaupas land his jab at will.... Comeback Foreman destroys this clown.

You must be a damned, twisted sadist to try and envisage the hurt that any version of George would put on Wilder.

    Who hurt you?

94 George was really showing his age. Schulz outboxed him badly the following year and Moore was cruising til he got caught. However, Wilder is not the boxer either of those guys were and Foreman bullies him and shatter that glass.
Foreman was a very relaxed and patient fighter who's size was close enough to be a nightmare for Wilder.

Wouldn't happen. No way. Wilder is running from people who Foreman would crush.

You're likely right that Wilder finds a way out. But IF he was forced into the ring with Old Foreman, he's out cold on the canvas within 5 or 6 rounds. He doesn't last 30 seconds with Prime Foreman.

Wilder could get an easy UD if he doesnt want to engage bc of his 6'7 body and reach .Foreman wouldnt catch him unless wilder stopped moving. BUT if wilder tries a k.o? He gets knocked out. Foreman was really tougher to beat even in that period of 91/95 than wilder is now,but you could out box foreman who had slow feet, but actually punching him out is another story.

Theres no way wilder is going to take this fight lightly ,he would be scared and bc of it he would be moving like we haven't seen him before, which makes it more difficult for Foreman to get that K.o.

People have to remember wilder isnt a great boxer ,hes difficult bc of the 6'7 83 inch reach and speed of hand and foot factor.i would put Wilder within a 65/70% chance to win this.

Posted this in wake of Vitali suggesting he might come back. He would get George's age record by one year if he sent Wilder packing to the nearest deonkey sanctuary.
