Danny Williams fight against Hari Miles last night

I really feel for his family, it must be so hard watching him keep doing this.

I haven't seen an interview with Williams for years so I don't know what sort of state he is in but I assume he is showing signs of damage, his balance looks all over the place and his reactions look so slow.

I can't have sympathy for him personally, it's his choice and it is a choice.

Looking at him I think it will only be a matter of time before he is seriously hurt, I really hope I'm wrong and I don't even like thinking it but if he hasn't walked away by now then that's the only way he will stop.

 

Go, if you are a fan then give him your support, you never know you might get a quick chat, pic and autograph but it will probably make you sad to see him in the state he is in now.

Dear God that was grim, it would have been less embarrassing being sparked in the first than getting cuffed about like that for five (very short) rounds.

After seeing Danny's last fight with the fearsome Pavel Siska I wasn't expecting much, but I didn't think he was so far gone that a chubby (no downright FAT) cruiser could do that to him.

Did you hear Miles at the end talking as if the win had some significance? When he fought Sam Sexton a (reasonably) 'live' heavyweight, he was flattened in three.

His chavy 'promoters' (didn't like the weird goggle eyed, nodding one with waistcoat) should be ashamed to be part of this travesty.

He also says that he's 'done with boxing' yet within weeks we have the Miles farce and he's down to box Marino Goles in Slovenia at the weekend.

Can't see he's getting paid a fortune for these 'contests' the Siska fight was one of about twenty on the bill (and as you can see above the crowd wasn't huge) the Miles encounter was on an unlicensed bill in a sports centre.

I thought he would be worse to be fair. Fingers crossed he means it this time...Danny Williams has'nt got a bad bone in his body. Nice fella !

Should become a trainer could be a decent trainer and that way his still around boxing it can't be a good feeling losing to trash you would have beat no problem

 

He clearly didn't 'mean it' as the interview was in September (the Miles fight wast last week)

As far as I recall Danny has previously announced his retirement, before the Chisora fight, and after the Larsen, Hammer and Negus fights.

If so called promoters stopped using him the decision would be made for him.
