Erickson Lubin is about to get smashed by Jermell Charlo

LOL one of the most exciting talented prospects in boxing and hes going to join gatekeeper status? LMAO. jermells gonna get his ass kicked.. and stopped.. jermell is not his brother.. not even close actually. if lubin feels like it he may let it go 12 roundslol.

Haven't seen much of lubin but Canelo isn't very good got very lucky against Jackson and this s the right charlo he lost to vanes and Demetrius Hopkins IMO but got the gift wins to me he looked clueless in all these fights just doing the same thing over and over

 

I almost get the feeling this can end up like the Allen Green / Jaidon Condrington fight. Not that someone is going to get knocked out in this first round. But it may end in knock out and it may derail a career. Basically two prospects putting it on the line to move on to the next level.

 

The quality Charlo brother (Jermall) got promoted to join the big boys in the MW division, the lesser one (Jermell) got ****d and served up for Lubin.

I agree. He's too young and still has a bird chest. They threw him in too fast. He keeps his hands down by his waist like Chuck Liddel too. Dudes scrawny and makes too many mistakes.

I don't think at 22 he will get derailed. If you have some kind of thing against him I can see why you wanna think that. But let's be real, Linares got KO'd a bunch of times, most recently at age 27. His career still did pretty well. He would be much higher regarded without those losses, but one loss at age 22 won't do much.

Especially against a Charlo brother, who have both made a bit of a name for themselves.

 

No. I don't like they're already throwing him into the fire. I can easily say you're rooting for him just because you don't like the Charlos which is most likely the case. They're doing this young man dirty and he's most likely getting KO'ed. Make sure you support him afterwards.

 

Look at my comments concerning Brook/Spence. Only idiots like you thought Brook had a chance. I explained exactly what would happen. Brook deserved a soft touch after G.

Lubin has been fed nothing but soft touches himself till this point. They should've went after someone like Ishe or even a Trout whose been around so he can get some quality experience. Jermell has been improving and he's more snappier and crisp now with his punches. He's got a more solid base than Lubin who looks like he's on shaky legs even while he moves.

Lubin has looked great against these bums he's been fighting but he leaves himself too exposed. His hands are literally around or below his chest and he leaves himself too open when he throws punches. A one-two is going to do him and his body hasnt matured enough for Jermell. He's getting KO'ed. Go change your pick in your league to further avoid another stupid heart pick you're prone to always doing.

You're good at obscure fights. You're not good on easy pickem fights. This is a story of a boy who plays PlayStation during training against a man.

I don't mean to talk **** but it pains me how they're doing this kid. The only good thing out of this is he is young and hopefully overcomes his first hard lesson about life. This fight potentially ruins his career and it's sad.

 

Charlo is a soft touch.

 

I like Lubin in this fight but I'm not extremely confident
on the outcome, Jermell clearly isn't his brother (athleticism,
twitch fiber and explosiveness), he's more methodic in the ring.
Of late he's shown more power and physical strength however.
His problem is he can be outboxed and Lubin is a good boxer.
The question is if Jermell turns up and starts winging (as he has
done lately), how will Lubin respond?

Again, I can see a Lubin win by decision, if anyone gets stopped
it won't be Jermell.
