Roy Jones Jr, James Toney, Shane Mosley.......all modern greats...... all American. ........all drug cheats......all brushed under the carpet.
Yeah seriously. Can you imagine all the “Ban Him Now!! For Life!!” posts that would be typed up by some of the turds on here. It would be Povetkin X’s 1000. “B.. Bu.. But he be takin that Osterdonium doe!!” 0.000000001
Brutal thread, and the OP is 100% on the money. With available PED's and no/minimal testing, how anyone would assume the freakiest athletes WEREN'T using anything is mind-boggling- like the ham and eggers are all on something, but the ones that make them look as athletic as a slug must be clean as a whistle? C'mon, man. Pretty crazy how it got brushed under the rug.
They covered up a positive test of Quillen's after the Winky Wright fight and just look at what they have been letting Floyd get away with for over a decade. If you do not think all these A side divas get passes on PED testing you are insane. That alone would be bad eno9ugh but they test the **** out of their opponents because they have to further unlevel the playing field.
Good thing for fighters like Floyd Mayweather, Nonito Donaire, and Edwin Rodriguez. Mayweather for being the first athlete in pro sports history to volunteer and pay for his own additional drug testing. Donaire for being the first athlete in pro sports history to volunteer and pay for his own year round random drug testing. And Edwin Rodriguez for following in Donaire's footsteps. Many cheaters out there. It will be interesting to see how fans feel about Jones, Morales, etc. over the coming years and decades. As of now, it seems that they do not care.
Yes Roy failed the test. So did Hall who had something like a 10 or 12 to one T:E ratio. Both juiced, Hall worse than Jones. If Jones didn't fail another test, and to my knowledge (correct me if I'm wrong) he hasn't, then what ever. Same with the Cobb vs Barch where both tested positive for cocaine. IMO the playing field was even, the result should stand. F*** whoever tried to cover it up though.
