There, I said it. I can't bear to watch their boxings productions, particularly their coverage of Anthony Joshua. People can say they've done great things for the sport, and it's true they've brought it to a wider audiance, but they're disrespecting the sport and its real fans with their scripted, bias, lunacy! Comparing AJ to Ali? Putting up a poll asking is he the best British heavyweight of all time? Those sort of comparisons are disgraceful.

Then there's the actual coverage of his fights. Acting as though he's putting on a masterclass, when he's blowing out of his arse and struggling with a poor opponent. Then painting his opponents as though they're something other than ordinary. Not one negative comment about AJ, not one balanced assessment of the fight. It's literally trying to brainwash the casuals.

And it's not just AJ. I'm Irish and a fan of Katie Taylor. But the hysteria around her last performance, and the disrespect shown to her game opponent, wasn't right. They're pushing their agendas to the point that they're telling bear faced lies, like dodgy politicians. Their commentary is scripted before a punch is thrown, they don't care much for what is happening in the fight.

Sky have no dignity, they're shameless prostitutes, attempting to brainwash the masses. Adam Smith, Carl Froch, Johnny Nelson, Tony Bellew - I've never seen such a shameless collection of lick arse numpties.

    Rant over.

It's more over the last few ppv shows this year, last year the coverage was good which is what i'd expect from Sky.But as Adam Smith has become more regular, partnered with Froch more, along With Bellew suddenly becoming a British Superstar after his win against a one legged man, then the cherry on top with Nelson it is disgusting coverage.Compare it with Showtime the difference in quality, bias is immaculate

Adam Smith is absolutely unbearable to listen to. Constantly speaking in that corporate dramatic Sky Sports voice even when having a normal conversation. The bloke is a weirdo too.

Froch is absolutely clueless as well unless the fight involves Joshua, Kell Brook or Bellew. He literally doesn't know any other fighters than those 3.

Adam Smith is the Jim White of boxing
Froch is the Michael Owen of boxing.

Starts with the scripted acting post fight and pressers to reel in the unsuspecting PPV mugs and spot on mate - these people named above are working to a script selling the public a pile of PPV dog turd.

The PPV mugs feeding these millionnaires need educated by boxing fans.

Froch is only good when he's paired with Malignaggi.

It's quite unbelievable that Smith and Froch are now the flagship casting pair for a platform such as Sky. When Halling got the boot I thought Smith was only there temporarily, why is the head of boxing for Sky also doing the casting?

I've almost completley stopped watching HBO shows because they are just so bad, Max Kellerman is unbearable. Hopefully Sky doesn't go the same way.

Have to agree with the OP, the commentary tonight was awful in particular the Chisora fight. They were talking about his opponent like he was putting on a masterclass where as in reality it was a very close fight and could have been scored either way.

I'd have thought a working class, scouse, self-proclaimed hard man like Tony Bellew would be able to call a fight as he sees it. But his punditry for AJ/Takam was possibly the worst I've ever seen. Tony sounded like he was desperate to give AJ a post-fight blowjob. I've never seen a commentator with his tongue so far up a fighters arse, he couldn't physically bring himself to say anything but amazing things about AJ, in what was evidently an under-par performance. It just goes to show that most mens souls are up for grabs at a price.

I just think Sky have gone too far. It's too much, to the point of unbearable. How can our leading boxing broadcaster be unbearable to watch? It's not fair on people who have been watching the sport for years, and know just a little bit about the sport.

Kellerman is completely unbearable. The bloke stands there in the ring after the fight thinking it's all about him and he simply loves the sound of his own voice.

I don't see the head of Sky football doing the commentary in the Premier League so why has Smith given himself a job and not been brought to task on it?

Smith is just so bad he makes me turn it off because he's always shouting his head off.

Hearn must have plans for him to be the next opponent for aj unbeaten Vs unbeaten that's why they were making him out to be great everything is for a reason with the matchroom mafia

If Sky is only working with Hearn's matchroom fighters then why are people so surprised that they are pushing and hyping those fighters like there's no tomorrow? Of course they are going to be biased in their favour when it comes to promoting and marketing them.

Last week was the worst, bellew shouting instructions to AJ while commentating was disgraceful.
