    This is the kind of fight Spence needs to become a star. Cotto is a name. Yes his faded but still an impressive win vs Cotto would do wonders for Spence.

    Signing a long term deal with gbp is stupid if you're in 140-154. They have no relevant fighters.

    If middleweight is eventually in the plan, then maybe.

    The StubHub was empty last night. Not sure how Haymon is paying these guys.

    Spence and Mikey need a promoter that know how to make stars.

    Mikey Garcia did the same thing for the same reason. GBP basically trying to pawn off Cotto to sign a young talent. Spence is focused on the red hot WW division and he has time in front of him so it's the right move.
