Why should a promoter dictate to another champion?!? Hearn said Joshua wants to unify the other champion is calling him out.

 

Joshua has already beaten Whyte, and his profile in the UK (and the rest of the world) is already kind of high.

Why would he need to fight Whyte again?

 

Because, like I previously said, that's not how IBF mandatories work. When they schedule a mandatory and the #1 challenger is unavailable they very rarely grant a voluntary, instead they just go to the next guy in the rankings. That's why Kell Brook had some **** poor defences.

The IBF had already said waaaaaay back in April that if a Klitschko rematch could not happen then the immediate fight would be an IBF mandatory, with no exceptions. So when Pulev pulled out it was always going to be Takam. If Takam was unavailable it would have been Hammer, then Miller, then Whyte etc etc.

You're twisted my own words as if there was an alternative option when there simply wasn't. Anybody who knows how strict the IBF are with mandatory challengers would know that the Takam fight was a dead certainty after Pulev's injury. So don't pretend Whyte was ever in line for the shot as a late replacement because in reality he would have needed Takam, Hammer and Miller to all turn down the chance at the unified title for a career high payday, which would never happen.

How do you not know this?

 

There is only ONE champion. And that's AJ. Wilder is a belt holder, not a recognized champion.

I'm not even saying that Wilder needs to fight Whyte, you fool.

There are better fights out there for Wilder, Ortiz could still pass the WBC medical exam (based on the fact that they bought the blood pressue **** and bull) so could still fight Wilder in early 2018, there's also the possibility of a Parker unification. These would both be far better tests than Whyte.

I'm just saying that Whyte was never a realistic option for the late stand in, which you implied he was (incorrectly). Yes, you are technically correct in that Hearn could have applied for an exemption, but we all know (even you) that the IBF would have rejected that because they have a hard on for scheduled mandatory fights.

So why would Hearn spend $20,000 (the ridiculous cost of an exemption application) asking for an exemption that he knows will get turned down? It's basically flushing money down the toilet. Whyte was never a viable replacement for Pulev, because Takam, Hammer and Miller are all ahead of him in the rankings. You implied that he was a viable replacement in an attempt to criticise him, so I corrected you on the matter.

Unlike the WBC the IBF don't play favorites but just follow their own rules..

I'm not entirely sure he's a Wilder fanboy, from his comment I gather he's just somebody who doesn't rate Whyte that highly (neither do I to be honest).

But to suggest that Whyte should have stepped in for Pulev, and criticise him for not doing so when Takam, Hammer and Miller were all ahead him in the IBF rankings is straight up ignorant.

 

These Americans getting all boiled up,truth hurts dosen't it,Wilder has to follow the Map set out by Hearn and AJ,if he wants the lottery ticket.You know what if i was AJ and Hearn,i'd make Wilder fight Whyte,without any contractual rights,which enables him to fight Joshua,and whatever the result of Wilder/Whyte,dont give him the fight.Fight Haye,Parker,H Fury,Pulev,Chisora,give it to those who deserve the payday more than Wilder.
