Who do you all think would of won. If it had happen. Would cottos experience of been to much for spence or would spence catch up to him like he did with brook and mandown !!
A tough fight for both men. Cotto is a proven HOF'er. It's too early to tell about Spence, but he's got a chance. I'd rather see Errol Spence vs. prime Margarito.
Prime Margarito imo is underated. So far what I seen of spence, I got Margarito grinding him down for a points win minimum maybe very late tko
At this stage I think its mad to turn it down. Good money fight and a hof fighter on his resume..I'm thinking Cotto's still a very good fighter but Spence would look bad if he lost to an old soon to be retired Cotto or if it was really close.
Skill wise I thought Brook the better man but the beast in Spence truly surprised me and I'm not sure I'll ever doubt him again
Yeah but that's Shane Mosley. No question marks over him, proven against the best of the best. We don't know if spence will ever be that level of fighter yet
You have to take his previous eye injury and the other socket fracturing in to account imo with that win. Not saying he would've won injury free but I think it hampered him. It would've been a closer fight, it wasn't a 100% Brook imo
No, its a cloud over him every time he gets in the ring now mentally. Fighting at middle as well and dropping back down to 147 to fight Spence was a little wreckless too straight away. Fare play though he took the hardest comeback after a bad injury. Imo I think he would've beat Spence Jnr injury free and not cutting weight from competing at middle..I think now, if he cant get Khan for a big money showdown then take it. If not he should retire for health reasons as it will always be at the back of his mind in fights
Im glad spence didnt take it takes alot to ko cotto and cottos ring iq is to high . would of been embarrassing for spence not to be able to ko cotto
