Deontay Wilder Wants 50-50 Split Against Anthony Joshua And Wants It In The US

It seems like Wilder still has some weed left over from back when he got busted....and he must have been smoking it all day cus he high as hell! He seems to have forgot he's on the other side of the table, the B side. The weed got Deontay "B Side" Wilder feeling like he can make demands.

According to Hearn, Wilder is looking for a 50-50 deal to get in the ring with Joshua - and the British promoter makes it clear that Wilder will never, ever get that kind of monetary split.

"The deal in Wilder’s head is a 50-50 split but over my dead body is that ever happening. He hasn’t had a serious fight yet and he needs to fight someone real before he can start making demands. I want him to fight Dillian Whyte at the O2 on February 3. That would be an absolute tear-up. AJ will be ringside seat for that," Hearn said.

Should Wilder defeat Whyte - then Hearn says he would be more than happy to do a deal for a title unification and AJ will enter the ring after to call out the winner.

That would be 2 back to back career highest paydays but despite being high on weed, he's still aware of his boxing abilities and doesn't want to face a tough oppnent before cashing out against AJ in case he gets exposed.

 

C'mon CST lol 50/50 isn't fair. 60/40 Joshua seems right. Wilder will bring Joshua very good PPV numbers.

 

Joshua is the real champion. It should be in the UK and something like 70/30 split.

You could have said the same thing about Canelo/GGG. Wilder is the perfect opponent for Joshua just like GGG was the perfect opponent for Canelo. Before Canelo GGG was doing 97k on ppv yet he ended up getting a 60/40 purse when Canelo has done 2m ppv. The only person delusional is the moron that thinks 90/10 is a viable purse and that Hearn would even offer it. Most likely Hearn wants 70/30 and they'll agree on 60/40.

50/50 is ridiculous, wilder deserves 40% tops but even then he will be having an extremely good deal. No way does he bring 40% of the revenue it will earn

 

Joshua could just as easily be the victim of home cooking in the States. If one fighter is the unified champion and brings more money to the table, generally, it's the other who needs to get his passport out.

 

He might as well say he doesn't want the fight. 65/35 in the UK will still land Wilder like a 10+ million payday. Make it happen and if Wilder wins he's the king of the sport.

Anyways I kind of think this fight is a bit premature. Need more hype. Joshua should unify the WBO and Wilder should beat Whyte.
