Eddie is talking about Joshua vs Parker for February.

Parker has the choice of fight Povetkin for a lot of money, or fight Joshua for a lot more.

    Both will beat Parker.

I think Parker will be Joshua's next fight.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. All roads lead to a massive summer unification at Wembley with Wilder.

    Joshua - Takam - Parker - Wilder

    Wilder - Stiverne - Whyte - Joshua

Bet Povetkin goes back to the drugs, when he gets his title shot. He won't pass the doping test, he's a lost cause.

Povetkin ain’t ko’ing parker, plus got to factor in by the time this Mando is ordered povetkin will be 39, I think who ever wins will be on points.

Man this will be a good fight! Povetkin isn’t dancing around like Hughie. He’s gonna bring it!

Can't see Parker (or any of the other belt holders) facing the Russian laboratory experiment.

The WBO have just messed Parker around for 9 months with Big Cat Fury, so for now, Parker has clear air.

My pick for Parker's next opponent btw is that undefeated Chinese heavy who won silver in Beijing.

As others have said this fight won't happen, Joshua is planning to fight Parker next year so it will more likely be Joshua/Povetkin and even then it might not be until 2019. The WBO mandatory won't be enforced until around this time next year and if Joshua is unifying with Wilder's WBC belt then as planned then that will push back Povetkin until early 2019 by which time Povetkin will be 39.

Povetkin would beat Parker now though.

Povetkin in Moscow is not low reward for Parker. It would be his career high payday if he gets 75% of the purse as the belt holder.

True, Povetkin is a decent draw. Wlad earned $17 mill I think facing Povetkin. Parker won't get that much but he'll get rewarded handsomely should he decide to face Povetkin, rather than unify.

I'd be a really good match up. If Povetkin comes in clean I give Parker the slight advantage right now - Parker has been racking up experience against a lot of different styles and getting through, closely... no one has hurt him and he out boxed Hughie Fury despite the height and reach advantage. I think an aging and clean Povetkin will make it an exciting fight until mid rounds and won't be able to sustain it against Parker, who has got quite got and accumulating body shots and slowing down opponents and then just keeping enough going on to rack up the rounds to a decision.

It's just VERY hard to trust team Povetkin to keep him clean, unfortunately. Also the fight may be held in Russia, in which case Povetkin would arguably need to be carried out of the ring to lose - and even then Parker may suddenly somehow fail a drug test.

Parker has just recently come out and said "he doesnt want to fight any bums" and Povetkin is definitely not a bum. Providing that all goes well for both fighters, we could see it late next year. Unless Ryabinsky pays Parker a huge amount of cash and its on next.

Depends where the fight will be set. If it's in Russia Parker could get more than fightjng Joshua.
