    Don't get it twisted. Golden Ploy might have wanted a multi-fight contract, but Spence/Mikey/JV could have bargained harder. It seemed like they walked during the first round of negotiations.

    Cotto KOs Mikey.

    Cotto CAN beat Spence.

    Cotto beats JV.

    Beating Cotto would be MASSIVE for their career/resume/marketability. Robert Garcia accidentally revealed that Mikey walked away NOT because of the multi-fight deal, but because Grandpa Garcia told him not to take the fight because of the size difference and that he might get hurt.

    Yep, them few would seriously have their hands full with Cotto. He defo stops Garcia imo, the rest are up against it off an old war horse that's still got it !

    Mikey has had 1 fight at 140 against B level fighter and is a natural 135'er. Opting out of fighting a 154 lb fighter is not a duck.

    Pretty sure Spence was offered the fight as part of a multi fight Contract. Can't really call that a duck either.

    Yes, he didn't want a multifight contract. Rumor is he turned down 2.5 million dollars. That's ree ree money for a guy w/ Spence's resume.

    Well.... what does Ali have to lose? He knows he sucks, he needed a gift against friggin Johan Perez recently, I'd much rather be paid a million to get KTFO by a legend than get paid 100,000 to get KTFO by Dmitry Mikhaylenko or Qudratillo Abduqaxorov.

    I actually think Spence beats Cotto at this point in his career.. Years ago all Cotto but now Spence beats him.. Im not saying destroys him but wins a decision or late stoppage.. I think Cotto made a good decesion for his farewell fight and went the easy route.. Nothing more to prove and I personally think hes done.. I keep repeating myself but I did not see the same Miguel Cotto on his last fight..(Maybe it was the inactivity who knows) but something was off and even his body language looked different.. Time to hang them up.. Mad respect to him though.. Not dissing him by any means I used to be a big fan.. May he Retire In Peace..

    So one guy 3 weight divisions below and two guy's a weight division below are ducking a fighter in a higher weight class offering them a BS contract at the same time? You call that a duck? smh

    No one would even be talking about Cotto vs Mikey Garcia if Mikey hadn't brought it up first. So how is he ducking Cotto? Yes Robert said his dad told Mikey it was a dangerous fight but he also said Mikey almost took the deal. If the offer had been a bit better, Mikey would have taken it.

    Garcia even said he would make less money fighting Cotto than other fights.

    On top of that Mikey is a lightweight, Cotto is a JrMW.

    But lara,charlo and hurd are not ducking? cotto should be calling the other champions in his own division out, not 147 and 135lbers
