According to boxing scene, last WBSS fight and the first fight to take place on friday, the reason for it being on friday is probably so that it doesn't rival with Joshua vs Pulev.

Odds have slashed for Brant. Is this his coming out party?

It could be, although he'd need to beat Smith to break out. Braehmer was never that good, is old, and coming down in weight.

Think it's a 50/50 fight, with a slight edge to Brähmer for being the home fighter.

Brähmer is on the slide and Brant is taking a huge step up. I wonder if Brant is only in there to have a US representitive.

Brähmer quit against feather fisted Cleverly. I dont see him winning this. He was never world class and is getting older.

I don't think the question is if Brähmer is world class, because he isn't. But the real question is, what level is Brant at?
His best win was a close MD win over this guy...

It’s always a recipe for diester when an aging fighter goes down in weight and the fact he’s had a year long lay off and coming off an injury I can’t see it going well for him. Brant ud.

A transfusion of young blood is objectively better for the sport but I gotta roll with my homie Sloth from the Goonies.

Brant will brutally stop Braehmer with a lunging straight right, its a terrible idea for an old fighter to move down in weight after a year long layoff in a match it was more than apparent he pulled a quit job in, when's the last time Braehmer fought someone who was far faster and even a tad bit slick? Juergen is about to have his Nehomar Cermeno like senior moment, only more violent.
