I think Takam will land a couple of flashy shots in the early part, but AJ will just prove to be too powerful.Lennox trained for 2 weeks and still beat Vitali,AJ trained for 2 months and Takam is No Vitali,Takam has already been exposed,he is at Molina/Stiverrne level
You never know, I have a funny feeling about it too...but I have that most weekends and I win sod all. Joshua should win it comfortably, but as Bunce was saying on the 5live podcast, Joshua’s weakness is that he loves a fight too much. If they start trading it’ll be very interesting.
Absolutely no chance, there's not a HW on the planet that hears the final bell against AJ. Takam will be happy to fall over after about 3 rounds and cash his cheque in and retire.
Lewis never only trained for 2 weeks at all he was in camp for Kirk Johnson. Vitali had the same length of camp for Lewis as Lewis had for him.
I do actually have more faith in Takam doing it than I would have had with Pulev. I wouldn't be shocked at all. But it's still very unlikely, I think. AJ ought to be 100% on point right now, in the zone, and still improving in his career. He's definitely a technically flawed fighter - a little one-dimensional even ..... but he's the epitome of a fighter entering his peak "on fire" right now, and I seriously doubt any rot has set in yet. He also proved his competitive spirit and determination in his last fight. Takam's good enough to justify being 100% confident too (providing the story that he's fully trained to condition are true), but as a neutral observer I'm going with the favourite. It makes sense.
It is a fight and unless it is a foregone conclusion as many people seem to think it is, then the reality is in your own thoughts, a forgone conclusion. Conclusion = Con. Brainwashed knowing the outcome already, but not realising it.... Still we live in hope for the spastics amongst us...
Quite a few people I've spoken to have had a similar feeling, a couple have had bets on Takam. I believe Joshua wins and wins well but I have to ask a question.. If Takam rocks, wobbles or even drops Joshua will people seriously start to question his chin? Rocked by Whyte, Dropped by Klitschko and if he is in any trouble with Takam I think people will start questioning him.
I don't see Takam winning but it wouldn't surprise me if it goes late or if it goes to UD. At which point all the haters will come out of the woodwork, when in reality Takam is a strong opponent who gave Parker a very close fight.
