Terrible stoppage. Like him or not I think Povetkin has claim to be best HW in world right now.

I'm not saying Takam would have won, AJ won nearly every round, that's not the point, the point is it's a world title fight, Takam wasn't on the floor at the stoppage, he wasn't all over the place, it was round 11 and he was tired, got caught with a few shots and the referee took away his chance to complete the fight.

The referee was looking to stop that at any opportunity, the cuts were not that bad but he wanted the Dr to give him the nod to stop it.

    I'm not happy with that.

If David Haye is even 60% of the version that body bagged Chisora, he beats Joshua. He absolutely smashes that chin into smithereens. Let's all pray that Haye 3.0 is fully fit and dispatches Bellew because my G absolutely massacres Joshua like a cat being fed to a lion my word...

It's a fighters right. Takam earned the chance to have a true go at it, by taking the punches that he did, fighting the way that he did, and to go out on his shield if necessary.

He's an iron chinned pressure guy who tried to employ a game plan. He was robbed of ANY chance of winning with the premature stoppage.

I told folks that takam doesn't have the stamina himself to push the pace. Shame as he had more of a chance than I thought slightly if he didn't have such **** stamina

Sky, Hearn and Edwards should be embarrassed by that joke of a stoppage.

Little early, but that was the first time that Takam was consistently getting tagged, he was cut over both eyes and he was well out of range on the cards (and mine).

Given those factors, I'm not completely upset by it. Good fight- and in their own way, a good performance from both.

He was wobbled, that's about it, he was slipping shots, and could have potentially weathered the storm, it was an awful stoppage.
