Parker seems to now be keen on fighting AJ, he says he has always wanted the fight but I believe he chose the Ruiz fighter over his IBF mandatory shot which was fine as it was for a belt too.

Anyway I think AJ stops Parker, Parker doesn’t have the head or body movement that Takam showed, he hasn’t got the power or length of a Wilder. I can’t see how Parker wins especially by Stoppage but I think all the HWs are beatable so he does have a shot.

Thoughts? Who would you be picking if they fight early next year?

Yeah because Parker has looked so good against his last 3 opponents.

I like Parker and he's got great potential (with a different trainer) but he needs to reflect and learn from the struggles that have been his last few fights. he's not on Joshua's level yet.

I have exactly the same viewpoint. Here's a previous post:
"As many of my previous posts indicate, I like Joseph Parker a lot, have always liked him and will continue to like him. He's a significant credit to the sport and business both inside and outside of the ring. But, if current circumstances remain intact, he will most likely be taken out sometime in the middle rounds by Joshua. For one thing, I firmly believe that he doesn't have the corner that would enable him to have much of a chance of beating Joshua. Now, if he were to go to Big Bear and switch Abel Sanchez as his unambiguous head trainer and then have a couple of fights before Joshua, my perspective could very well change."

Apart from the handspeed Parker has nothing special for me, his ceiling doesn’t seem to high and his style isnt suited for his height. He needs to work on his head movement and his inside game coz he will need to get on the inside of AJ and Wilder to really be effective. He can’t jab with those guys. A change of trainer is a necessary for Parker to progress like you said.

Would take him more seriously if he had stopped Cojanu and Shades of Ali.

AJ is there to be hurt and beat. I dont understand why people see AJ as this unbeatable machine?? His best win is againt an old inactive coming off a loss Wlad. His second best win is against an average guy who came it at 2 weeks notice!

Another guy who doesn't follow boxing too closely.

Takam had longer to prepare for AJ, than AJ did for Takam.....
