Golota is better boxer, but can he keep his focus for 12 rounds? Andrew seems to grew up mentaly but I don't know how he could handle Tua's non stop pressure. Either Golota UD or Tua by KO
Whenever you pick Andrew Golota in a head-to-head mythical matchup on a boxing forum, you gainsay, as in stray from the norm. And I will do just that. Let's establish that David Tua is too incommodious in comparison to Golota. His mental flaws aside, Golota took Riddick "Big Daddy's" Bowe's best punches for two straight fights. What else does Tua hold in his arsenal besides a mean left hook? I also believe that Tua becomes increasingly more frustrated as the fight progresses. Does anyone out there truly believe Golota of the Bowe fights loses to Tua on his best night? FYI: I do expect a platitude of "Yes" responses. If the pair tangled in July '96 – almost four months removed from HBO's Night of the Young Heavyweights – then the Polish national hero picks up the decision (though Tua would have chased the early KO before soon falling apart but that would have been his best argument, frankly). However, if the Samoan and Pole met in the late 2000s/early 2010s, then I would pick the former to win because Golota was just totally gassed by then (the Adamek and Saleta bouts are concrete proof of that).
