Benn. He hit with raw natural power. Jackson at 154 had the speed, accuracy and timing of a single shot down to a fine art. Benn at 160 could send you head over heels hitting your neck or nose or ear or top of head, his accuracy wasn't that of Jackson's to temple or jawline. Most of McClellan's ko's were left hooks to the body, placed perfectly. He did have an extremely heavy overhand right though! Golovkin has abnormally strong wrists and forearms it seems. He also has a lot of body shot kayos. But Benn was the hardest natural hitter. Animal.
Which clowns voted for Golovkin in this? Golovkin's power is good but it's not as otherworldly as some people tried to make out. I think we can all agree now that he wasn't dishing out KO's to top heavyweight prospects now. It's all Sanchez hyperbole.
I was wondering the same thing. Who has he knocked of note. A B-Level DAvid Lemieux is the only person of note he stopped. GGG absolutely has above avg/good power, but not great by any means. Stop it
mcclellan IMO was the most destructive puncher as a man he was a piece of **** but as a puncher he was a natural i rate him above jackson because mclellan was a natural middle and as such IMO would have hit harder but jackson could punch through walls but did not have a great boxing skills but what he hit felt it. GGG is next and benn last of these albeit the more mature benn at 168 had the worse chin of them all but h2h most probably beat all 3 on craftiness /will to win /workrate /ferocity.
McClellan Jackson Benn Golovkin Jackson hit harder P4P than all of them but in reality McClellan was probably a light heavy cutting down to middleweight. But he did make the weight and was just devastating when he landed so he's my top pick. Benn hit awfully hard, less so at super middle but at middleweight he had frightening power. Look at what he did to Barkley who withstood what Hearns could dish out twice. Sure it was stopped early due to the 3 knock down rule but every time he landed he hurt or dropped Barkley. Barkely hadn't come up against power like that before. Golovkin hits awfully hard but his power hasn't proven itself against the kind of mandibles the others have. Benn dropped and hospitalised Eubank who took shots from a huge hitting cruiser, Golovkin's power has yet to show it can match the others.
Make that Cruiser cutting down to MW. With same day weigh-ins. Still, I think Jackson hit the hardest anyway. And he would carry his power late, unlike McC
This is power...out before he hit the canvas! This content is protected This content is protected Benn would be obliterated Nunn wouldn't be far behind. I beleive if Macelland had met a younger Jackson he would have been next GGG this would have been biggest test on his chin...I doubt he would be standing at the end ...IMO
