    118-110 is too wide.

Can't speak on the result, missed the first 5 rounds. Seems fair based on this RBR.

A bit wide but the right man won. I guess the crowd must of forgot fights are scored round by round.

Got to give a shout to Babs LaMarr (in tribute for whom talkie-era starlet and damn smart broad Hedy Lamarr took her stage name) - but her short-burning fuse of a life meant we never got to see her reach the MILF/GILF stage, making an overall comparison difficult. Head to head in their primes, though, very close race.

I think he's a solid contender level fighter that happens to have a belt now.

There should be some entertaining fights out there for him, but I don't think he's a long-reigning type, nor does he have the right stuff to make waves at 147.

Kondo wasn't bad, but Lipinets has always seemed like a more athletic Provodnikov to me. He's a bit overhyped.

Lipinets got ten of twelve from Carlos Ortiz. I'm now going to review Ortiz's judging history, as he may have slipped between the cracks and evaded being earmarked for my terrible officials list.

Missed the first 3 rounds but I enjoyed what I did see of it. Kondo looks a difficult guy to fight just by virtue of how tough he is. No matter how hard Lipinets hit him to head or body nothing seemed to bother him at all or was able to deter him from walking him down.

Quite a bit. Lipinets is probably a little more skilled than Provodnikov (and yes more athletic) but overall Provodnikov is the better fighter IMO, due to intangibles.

Ehh, she was cute, but no Marion Davies, Greta Garbo or even Norma Shearer.

Is Granodos/Porter going to be a messy boring fight or fireworks?

Yep. Almost all the rounds, especially in the second half were competitive, and it was a good, fun fight. But that doesn't mean Lipinets didn't clearly win almost all of them. It wasn't so close that the outcome should ever have been in question, like the Showtime crew tried to make us believe.
