Which past liberal champs had jabs that were clearly superior to Wilder’s? I guess we can probably stipulate the usual names (Ali, Holmes, Liston, and Wlad).

I think Wilder has a really good jab and is a good fighter. More than that I think he is Heavyweight Champion of the World and will prove it if Joshua tells Hearns to shut up and fights Wilder. Wilder by KO in 10 I think.

You may as well put LL above him. I remember watching a Youtube video of LL showing Wilder how to throw a jab.

I love Wilder at the start and LL's response.
Wilder "So what are we doing?"
    LL "Throwing a jab"

He'll be asking AJ that question when the first one lands and he runs for his life.

So far it is as Joshua doing the running. Comn man. Make the fight. No excuses. Not to. Wilder wants it. Have it be next. Betcha Joshua won't. How much you want to bet :) :) :)!

I think it is the most attractive and important fight in the sport. It could bring boxing out of cult status.

Quite a lot. Wilder doesn't have an especially great jab, IMO. It's not bad, and it does help set up his right hand. But I think quite a few lineal champions have exhibited a better jab. Not all of these guys had Wilder's athleticism or power, but in terms of jabbing.

    Fury
    Wlad
    Lewis
    Moorer
    Holyfield
    Bowe
    Tyson
    Spinks
    Holmes
    Ali
    Foreman
    Liston

Without going back further, I'd say all the ones I listed are clearly better jabbers in the purest sense (albeit, each of them using it a bit differently in the grand scheme of their individual approaches).

Who's the best jab Wilder has faced in both ams and pro's Rummy? I think in the pros Wilder's jab gets given praise because he's throwing it at guys who don't have one. Like, when Wilder meets a jab himself, from a Usyk, AJ or either Fury I'm not sure he's going to fare to well.

One thing for sure, his jabs are long
