Will Breazeale take a dive against Wilder?

Wilder is an order of magnitude quicker and faster reflexes than Breazeale. He'll be used as practice for a couple of rounds before deciding to end him, that's if the dude doesn't **** him off too much. Breazeale gets hit easily, even Molina landed some power shots looking at the Sky Sports Action highlights (the only footage I have seen of the fight so far outside of the stoppage).

Honestly if you're thinking you can take shots from Wilder, the fight is already lost. Nobody is beating Wilder if they can't make him miss. Even then, even somehow making him miss, all it takes a few clean power punches to win any round, and Wilder is active for all 3 minutes and all 12 rounds of a fight if need be. Fighters like Breazeale and Whyte do not value or have any defensive skills

 

Breazeale will be a big underdog against Wilder but I give him a shot at pulling it off.

Wilder will be very dangerous early but I don't see Breazeale giving it away easily.

You've only got to look at his fight with Izu to know he won't take a dive & can persist after being swatted.

I think Breazeale is a rapidly improving heavy & I look forward to his title shot against Wilder.

 

Breazeale is also owned by Haymon, so he will do what Haymon tells him to do, if he is ordered to take a dive, he will! Breazeale can't fight at all, that's why he will be mandatory, yet, Breazeale is not ranked as high as Whyte or Ruiz......................

 

I will give Wilder minor props for fighting/beating AJ's leftovers.

 

I think Breazeale will give it his best shot...so no dive. Its his big opportunity and he's lucky if he gets this 2nd crack at a title. He's also a Haymon fighter so from Haymons point of view he can't lose. If Dom cracks the windmill man then Haymon still has the belt in his stable. I think Wilder probably will do the expected but after a few rounds but I wouldn't totally write Breazeale off as a no hoper - he has a shot for sure!

 

Breazeale is improving but the problem for him so is Wilder. And since Wilder is the more physically talented of the two it will be an uphill battle for Breazeale.

Is Breazeale better than Washington? Yes, Breazeale can take a punch and has power unlike Washington. The problem is that don't mean much as Wilder could have knocked him out quicker than he did Stiverne. I mean the first right hand Washington took knocked him out. I always find the talk of "glass jaw" to be silly but in Washington case it really does apply. Washington is like a David Price, he can't a punch. Breazeale is tough, we seen him take a lot of punishment before. But Wilder throw with the worst intentions since Mike Tyson. There is only so many of the type of shots you can take no matter how tough you are. And then there is a huge quickness gap between the two as well.

Breazeale may make it to the late rounds but unless Wilder get extremely careless there is only going to be one winner.

Breazeale is all heart he doesn’t even know what taking a dive is.

 

I can't see him taking a dive but I'd imagine if the WBC think he is training too good then a failed drug test will be coming his way..

10 pm in march 2 to 4 degrees c would be the norm minus 2 to 5 degress if it is a clear night

 

The conspiracy theorists (Povektin's drug fail was a set up; Ortiz was drug poisoned the day of the drug test) will believe that Breazeale will be fed broken glass in his breakfast the day of the fight, and his stomach will explode after Wilder's first punch.

 

I think if Breazeale makes it to the late rounds, Wilder could have a problem.

Blowing guys out in the first might make for friendly media coverage, but it does nothing to prepare you for a distance fight.

Don't get me wrong. Wilder will start a big favourite against Breazeale & deservedly so. I just think Breazeale has a chance.

I'm one of the few out here who really likes that fight. I think Wilder could do with a decent workout before taking on Joshua so bring it on.

 

He's no Scott, he's not in betting debt (as far as we know), he isn't Wilder's buddy, and he actually has a chance to win.
So, he ticks none of the boxes.
