I just read a newspaper column where Eddie Hearn AJ`s manager stated that Wilder was only 15st 9lbs! That`s two stones lighter than AJ. I`ve no doubt Wilder can hurt AJ with his punches but can he take them and recover the way AJ did vs Wlad, surely with that lean frame Wlad`s right would have wrecked the slender Wilder, his legs wouldn`t recover because they are thin like Hearns was at middle vs Hagler, plus I don`t think he could take body shots well because of his thinner waist, what does anyone think?

Wilders weight will effect his balance with a puncher like Joshua. 220 pounds is way to small fora 6'7 guy anyway,if he fights Breazeale we will see how he reacts to a power puncher,we havent seen him fight one yet.

Wilder at whatever weight hits silly hard and can go 12 rounds. He is fast but has a suspect chin.Wilder don't need to be weigh any more.He hits hard enough as it is

Convenient that the guy standing in the way of the fight happening claims the other guy is too thin to beat his man. There is only one way to prove your theory Eddie, stop obstructing the fight from happening.

Just the jab of Joshua will affect his balance. Then he will get energy drained from the clinches on top of that. Just like Washington vs Miller.

220 does seem ridiculous for a guy Wilder's height. Is he trying to become the new Paul Williams?

Too light is the least of his problems.

Too poor defence, poor balance, leaving himself open, giving many chances to be countered are the real problems. Everything Wilder does Joshua does far better.

Worried about Wilder's power? Wilder will not land any clean shots, and if he does Joshua has already proven he can take it and recover.

Worried about Joshua's stamina, Wilder is not going past four rounds tops, so forget about it.

Joshua is the one fighting tough opponents like Wlad, and undefeated tall prospects in preperarion for Wilder.

Wilder had actually been hurt by VADA, because he had not been taking tough fights in preperarion for Joshua, but easy push overs that do nothing for preparing for the toughest fight of his life.

Wilder is going to be fighting someone that vastly outsizes him for a change, not only that but someone with far better defence, Skill, aggression and ring IQ than him. Wilder is finished and the sooner this fight happens the better!

I think if Joshua's strategy is to work the body, then he's got the wrong strategy.

Wilder doesn't get hit flush in the head often, but he's been hit to the body in 39 fights and won them all.

I think Joshua should aim at the head, like Wilder will be doing.

Let's put it this way ...

If Joshua focuses on the throwing punches to Wilder's body, he'll wake up on a gurney and realize that for a rematch, he should just focus on the head.

Wilder's problem is his glass jaw, not his build

You finally have a hw to back that's physically capable of beating wilder, not saying he will but it could happen.

All you other picks of Aj fights had been beyond pathetic

I've always liked Wilder. And rooted for him.

    What were those pathetic picks?

I picked Whyte to beat him, because I like Whyte, then I picked Martin, as a quasi joke, but since he was as unproven as AJ, I was hoping he could land a lucky punch on that despicably fragile mandible of his.

Of course I picked Wlad, which was a very logical pick for such a 50/50 fight, which proved to be the definition of a 50/50 fight.

I picked AJ to beat Breazeale, Molina, Takam.

So of the two guys I picked to beat AJ, both came pretty close, and the other one, not so much.

Not sure how you can have such faith in such a flawed glass jawed fighter, you do realize he's going to get KTFO eventually right? Or are you so blinded by your fanatical fanboy devotion that you haven't noticed that he's fairly easy to outbox and has a **** chin.

It depends on who lands the bomb first. I think AJ can knock out Wilder but Wilder can KO AJ as well. That being said IMO it's likely AJ's experience and more polished techniques will prevent him from being the first one to get chin checked.
