Haye is a specimen, let's not get that wrong.

He also hasn't took much, if any, punishment as a boxer.

So where the hell have these injuries (and what are they) come from?

People say "Haye is broken, he can't get through a training camp nowadays!", but when did his physical decline start, and how bad actually is it?

He isn't like Floyd (injections for brittle hands etc). So what's the damage?

Even if he hasn’t taken punishment he’s put himself through physically intensive camps time and again over the years...you don’t get in that kind of shape without intense work...

He has always trained to be explosive, like a 10k run in 100m sprints, probably puts more strain on your body than traditional road work

High impact and explosive athletes do not last long. Just look at parallel sports where there is impact and explosiveness involved.

To compound it all he is carrying far too much weight and muscle for his frame. As you get into your 30s and are still doing the high impact work, this inevitably leads to injuries.

Its more the training and the camps in the run up to the fights that has worn him out.

By that Logic Anthony Joshua should be finished in a couple of years time.

Cant see AJ fighting at 37..If he is he'll have his injuries too.I do think Haye has way faster twitch fibres as well which is worse injury wise. Its like the injury is permanent under pressure

Joshua has said recently he’s been carrying a shoulder injury through his last few fights. Also had a back injury a couple years back

There you go then, imagine 10 yrs time. He'd probably be operated on a few times before he reaches 37. I do think AJ is too heavy for his frame though, so i fully expect injuries

Would an Achiles be that bad to ban someone from the ring or deem them not fit to fight ??? I think it could be disguised a bit too. Brain scan, blood pressure ect I know, but a bad joint or tendon is much harder to diagnose.

Very few boxers fit when fully fit. If you have a physic like Haye your always gonna be hurting somewhere!
