    I do understand that. I was hoping someone could clarify what happened though. I don't understand how they won this appeal or got him off. Sounds like BS to me.

    Doubtful Povetkin will get a shot at a belt next year, even if he becomes the #1 contender.

    Parker has time for another two voluntaries before the mandatory is due & could then go the unification route which would further delay enforcement of a mandatory.

    Surprising they didn't make Parker a big offer to fight this year straight after the Hughie Fury fight. Parker & his team were making noises about wanting to fight in December.

    The clock is ticking for Povetkin & I don't see any big fights on the horizon for him.

    imo he should be banned for a minumum of 4 years for his failed test
    i read it is impossible to take the drug he was found with legally in any form and is not available on perscription either.

    They already made a 4 million offer to Parker, they wanted more. He will get his title shot in summer or winter....

    He is off the hook but he still will need to go through random blood and urine tests for a year and will have to participate in dope free campaigns. Ryabinsky sued WBC hard....Povetkin had all the best lawyers you can get.

    I thought it was the other way around. Parker's camp asked for $4 million & the Russians said no.

    Your version makes more sense b/c if they passed on paying Parker $4 million for a title shot this year, I think they've made a bad mistake.

    I don't see Povetkin getting a title shot in the northern hemisphere summer & if Parker is still the champ by winter, he could go the unification route.

    He can fight Joshua via WBA route, Hearn and Ryabinsky already had early talks about this fight,because WBA is pushing for this fight.

    Ryabinsky has recently stated that he will seek justice in court against laboratories which tested Povetkin.
