    No trolling.

Looking at this from the point of view of a 'boxing fan'. No deluded Joshua/Wilder fanboy bias.

The sport needs another big name in the heavyweight division, we currently only have one...

How do we go about raising his profile?

    For instance.....

It is as simple as just 'stepping up'?

Is it deeper than that? Does he need to change his team? Are they in fear of him losing his title and therefore unwilling to step up?

He's already missed 3 big fights (Wlad, Vitali and Haye).....Just as importantly us fans have missed these 3 big fights.

How do we ensure he doesn't miss AJ, maybe even Parker, aswell?

He should just tweet something about Trump, either negative or positive. Either way, it will get his name out there to a huge population. If he can **** off Trump and get Trump to tweet about him, it would be huge. His name would be out there, and half the population of the US would be his fans, the other half would hate him and tune in to his fights wanting to see him get knocked out.

Actually fight some decent fighters. Its not that hard, plain and simple, he talks the talk yet doesnt walk the walk. Also get new promotion, imagine if he was a Eddie HEarn fighter with that record? Eddie Hearn would have the whole of the US behind him by now

Fight an actual consensus top10 opponent, preferably higher up in the top10 and look good against him.
So not some WBC "top10" opponent, or some low hanging fruit that appears on a single top10 somewhere (like Hammer or Bellew), but a real consensus top10 heavyweight.

    do Burger King commercials.

The commercial would go like this.

Wilder holds a burger in his hand with a crown over his head & wearing a King robe inside a castle.

"I'm Deontay Wilder, Heavyweight champion of the World. if you like the Whopper and good food, come to Burger King on Fourth & Green Avenue in Birmingham, Alabama. I'll be there to greet fans and tell stories of my great victories during my career.
So come down to Burger King, and have a Burger with the King of the Heavy weight Division"

He currently has his profile because of his zero and WBC belt. That's really it.

Otherwise he's like the Paris Hilton of boxing ... has something of a low level celebrity profile based on not a lot.

    1. Stop whining. Nobody loves whiners.
    2. Stop acting like you deserve something for giving us nothing. Instead, work for it. Take risks for it. Fans identify with a good work ethic.
    3. Tell people how people made fun of you (tons of abuse on social media) and how that made you stronger. You love the hate, you use it in the gym for extra motivation. People love a good story of someone overcoming adversity and thriving in it.
    4. Stop the tacky jewelry, the fur coats and the wanna-be gangster look. It's so outdated and cheap. You look like an idiot.
    5. Drop the mask.

Fight decent opponents for once, get on TV (talk shows etc), use twitter and other social media a lot and maybe fill in small arena's he's fighting in.

I think the ship has sailed in all honesty, he can be big by beating AJ but never on the level of past great HW's

The main thing he needs to do is start fighting better fighters in bigger venues with more exposure. Impress the crowd with HL reel knockouts and call out the big fighters live on air. Try to build on the momentum with appearances on talkshows, adverts, attempt to get a sports endorsement in the US, go on national and international tours to get your face out there, make lots of noise then actually follow through on it.

Upping the level of competition and level of exposure is key to everything though.
