Beterbiev is ducking Stevenson by calling him out.

 

Let's see the fight. I was a bit underwhelmed with Artur's last outing. Maybe Stevenson won't duck. Make the fight.

Unlikely that the pimp would step in the ring with anyone like Beterbiev. There's a reason why Stevenson got himself stripped from the Ring belt while being an active fighter. Not many managed such a feat.

 

Ready or not he needs to make some money. He has no fanbase, so he's not a draw. He's not a SHO/HBO fighter either. Unification fights will get him the most $$$.

Is Stevenson fight Jack? Light heavyweight seems to be duck central. No one fights anyone, Kovalev and Adonis never fought, and now Bivol and Beterbiev are struggling to get fighters to get in the ring with them

 

Beterbiev gets destroyed by Stevenson right now. Beterbiev still needs a few more fights as a pro and needs to get more active. He looked very predictable and slow against Koelling and was getting countered and struggling early on with Koelling's handspeed. Beterbiev did completely take over the fight in the mid rounds and stop Koelling, but starting slow and stiff against Stevenson is asking to get knocked out.

Hasn't Beterbiev learnt from Bute, Alvarez, Pascal & Kovalev that calling out Stevenson won't do anything.

It would be a good fight. I like Beterbiev's low-key approach. He should have taken more chances in his last fight, but I guess he's just now wired like that. I would take Beterbiev by KO if it happened. 40 is ancient in boxing.

It's business though, and Stevenson will make the same amount of money fighting Karpency in Quebec as Beterbiev (or Alvarez) they both live there, but are forigners, bring no fans, and don't speak English, so the fight doesn't sell anywhere else. And no matter who Stevenson fights in Quebec he will build a large gate.
