Best version of Wladimir Klitschko?

    When do you guys think Wlad was at his absolute peak?

    about 30, when he beat former LHW chris byrd, lucked through with Willamson and gassed out 6 round sam peter...and up till he handled Chaggy at the very lastest.

    his narrow range of good distance skills were peaking (and they were minimal in range, so more years werent going to make them better), and he was at his physical peak in terms of speed n strength n stamina ( 30 since HWs mature a little later than others).

    to pretend its 36 or 37 or 41 is patently ridiculous. even hopkins wasnt prime at those ages.

    He's one of the fighters who can be argued to have had their best version outside of their prime.

    The earliest is around '04 or '05 when he linked up with Manny Steward. Without that style that he had he would never have gone as far in the heavyweight division.

    It’s gotta be within the first couple of years after linking up with Steward, although, I do believe there’s an argument to be made that his performance against Joshua was one of his finest (albeit I accept it was against an opponent with inferior boxing skills and experience)
