Yeah Polynesians generally seem to be naturally big and very thick-set.

I also think he's too heavy and really should be around the 230lb mark.

When it comes to mandibular fortitude Parker>>>AJ & Donkeypotamus

Yes Parker has a good chin but Wilder and Joshua have some serious power.

Parker struggled with Takam and Hughie Fury.

Looks very very average to me.

Isn't he mixed? Doesn't have a Samoan name for one.

But his chin has shown no cracks as yet, unlike Femi and bum squad.

Not sure but apparently he's predominantly of Samoan decent.

    Edit: Just found this

“Fighting for your country brings out the best in you. I was born in New Zealand but my parents are from Samoa and my heritage is Samoan.

“I’m trying to do both New Zealand and Samoa proud and they are both behind me.”

He looks pretty pale coloured for a Samoan also. He's lighter than some Mediterannaen types. Mixed surely.

I have wondered that too, but both of his parents are born and raised Samoans who moved to New Zealand in the 1980s.

Samoa had various small-scale waves of pretty much all-male immigration from (variously) China, Germany and England around 100-150 years ago and a lot of Samoans therefore have non-Samoan last names and are slightly mixed although still predominantly (and entirely culturally) Samoan.

I note that Parker has an English (?) last name, his uncle has the name "Fruean" (German?) and Parker gave his own child the name "Ah-Sue" (Chinese).

So in conclusion, Parker is essentially 100% Samoan in that both of his parents and his entire cultural background is Samoan, but he probably has an above average level of English/German/Chinese mixed in there from male immigrants to Samoa 4 or 5 generations back.

    He lost to Hughie Fury
I didn't see the Ruiz fight but apparently that could have gone either way,
    Joshua would destroy him definitely.
And Wilder would probably knock him out.

It seems like he's looking for biggest pay cheque right now, he and his team are looking to cash out cause they know he isn't good enough. They know Povetkin is gonna soon be his mandatory and that's a definite loss that's why they are desperate for the Joshua fight now.

Right, my patience with numpties saying this is wearing.

Look at his record, he won all of these fights. People who were there and do scoring for a job judged it that way. The majority of people agree that Parker won all of those fights. That is the end of story. If he lost to Hughie Fury he would not have had his hand raised in Hughie's home town, build a bridge and get the **** over it.

Hughie Fury ran all night. His plan was to survive the 12 rounds and hope 2 of the judges handed him the fight.

0 logic in that at all, who's the real numpty, judges disagree amongst each other....

Did Canelo get the draw against GGG then? Well deserved was it?

Go watch the fight again, Hughie Fury 115-113 was what I had it, I know plenty others will have had similar. Commentary on the evening all had similar opinions, they're paid for their opinions, again making your point about judges sound silly (especially considering some of the rubbish and bias many of them also come out with)
